I just remembered that I completely forgot to post my "Survivor: Heroes vs Villains" end-of-season video. But before I do, here's my one from "Survivor: Samoa", to get an idea of how it will look.

That video was done last winter in one sitting, while the video for "Heroes vs Villains" I edited every week, based on the order. I will do the same thing for the upcoming season, "Survivor: Nicaragua".

Sorry for disappearing on y'all for awhile. My bus pass expired at the end of May and therefore I haven't been able to get on the computer. I have access to one for awhile, so I am going to write a blog.

As you know, I wrote a blog on May 1st about the SNL Digital Short "Dear Sister". And now I want to share the original scene that the short satirized.

This scene is from "The Dearly Beloved" the second season finale of the tv show "The OC". Originally aired on May 15th, 2005, the episode reached 7.6 million viewers.

Here is a recap of the last episode of "Survivor".

After Tribal Council, Rupert and Colby realize that their fellow Heroes tribemate, Candice, has turned on them. Jerri is ready to vote Candice out because they no longer need her extra vote.

Rupert and Russell argued over the game the next day in front of the entire tribe. I personally applaud Rupert for calling Russell out because Russell isn't the best player. He has a bad reputation.

The castaways go to their challenge site and learn that they are playing for Immunity. The challenge is won by Parvati, who has won that particular challenge before. Jeff reads a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol at their camp, and when they return to camp, Sandra finds the Idol. Rupert sticks a rock in his pocket to throw people off. Russell falls for the trick and conspires with his alliance to split the vote between Rupert and Colby, while Colby and Rupert decide to vote for Candice in revenge for her betrayal. The girls decide to turn on Russell and vote for Candice.

At the first Tribal Council, The Villains split the vote between Candice and Rupert, and Colby and Rupert vote for Candice, sending her to the jury by a vote of 5-3. I've always liked Candice since her first season in the Cook Islands, and named my first digital camera after her. Sad to see her go, but I kind of saw it coming because of her flip last week. Peace out Candice.

After the first Tribal Council, Russell is upset that his alliance didn't follow his plan. They agree to target Rupert in the next Tribal Council.

The second immunity challenge is won by Russell. He was concerned that Parvati and Danielle were too close, since he wanted Parvati on his side, so he decided to stir up trouble by saying Parvati was targeting Danielle and vice versa. The two girls talked to each other about it and realized that Russell was trying to split them up. They turned to Sandra and Jerri to try to save Danielle. Russell convinces the two Heroes to vote for Danielle.

At Tribal Council, Danielle and Russell argued over what he said to her, and I know Danielle was correct and Russell was lying to her face in front of everyone else. This caused Danielle to break down in tears and I felt bad for the poor girl. After the vote, it is revealed that Jerri switched her vote, causing Danielle to be voted out 4-3. Danielle has always been one of my all-time favorite players, and I hated to see her go out the way she did. If Russell makes it to the end, she'll get a chance to call him out. Peace out Danielle, and stay beautiful.

Today I have a video I would like to share with you guys. A recap of last night's episode of "The Hills" will come soon as well.

"The Shooting", also known as "Dear Sister", was an SNL Digital Short that originally aired on April 14th, 2007. The short is a satire of "The Dearly Beloved", the second-season finale of the TV show "The O.C.".

Before I talk about it, there is some history on the video I will share. Two days after the original airing of the short was the Virginia Tech shootings. 33 people were killed in this shooting, including the killer, who committed suicide when he was done killing people. The short was found to be in poor taste after the massacre and was never uploaded to youtube or NBC's website. It did start a wave of reenacments on youtube, but now because of the dispute between youtube and Warner Music Group, many of the videos have their audio muted. I have found the original video on Photobucket.

The video is a good satire of the scene in "The O.C.", which I have seen. If you notice, every time Kristen Wiig is shot, the music, "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap, restarts. And as Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen shoot each other, the music overlaps. It's very funny, but also satirical. I showed this video to my boyfriend and we both enjoyed watching it together.

A recap of last night's episode of "The Hills" will come soon, and "Survivor" will come on Friday. Saturday Night Live is a new epsisode, with host Betty White and musical guest Jay-Z. I will try to write about that.

Tuesday, April 27th, was the premiere episode of the final season of "The Hills". I will be recapping the end of the phenomenon that began in 2006.

The first part of the episode was Lo Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt discussing all of the plastic surgery procedures that their friend Heidi Montag has had done. Heidi tells her husband Spencer Pratt that she is going to visit her family in Colorado. Spencer wants to come with her, but her family doesn't like him.

The episode flipped back and forth between Miami, FL and Crested Butte, CO. In Colorado, Heidi and her sister Holly met with her mom to talk about the procedures she had done. Her mom thinks she looked better before, and Heidi is upset about that.

In Florida, Lo, Stephanie, Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari are on vacation. Kristin's ex-boyfriend, Brody Jenner, is flirting with Audrina and Audrina is a bit concerned about that since she knows Kristin still has feelings for him. They go out to a club and Brody continues to hit on Audrina, and Audrina is still uncomfortable with it so she, Lo, and Stephanie leave, and Kristin stays out and doesn't come home until the next morning.

Back in Colorado, Heidi and her family go out to dinner and her mom, Darlene, still continues to object to the work Heidi had done. Heidi breaks down in tears, but her stepfather is there to comfort her.

In Florida, Lo, Stephanie and Audrina talk with Kristin about just staying at the hotel for the night since Kristin isn't feeling well. Kristin agrees to it, and she leaves the room. Lo, Audrina and Stephanie are concerned that Kristin may be doing drugs. She stays out all night, her voice is raspy and she's just not doing well. Later that night, the trio waits around for Kristin, only to find that she went out again.

The day the group leaves to go back to Los Angeles, they discuss Kristin's potential drug use more. Kristin overhears them and confronts them about it, and denies she has a problem, and calls out Stephanie for just assuming it was true, since Stephanie has a history of alcohol abuse. The trio leaves, and Kristin stays behind for a little bit, then follows them.

Heidi bids farewell to her family and they drive her back to the airport so she can go back home to LA.

This upcoming season of The Hills looks very intense and dramatic. Who knows how it will end. The first episode was a good start to the season. Plenty of drama to go around.

Here is my recap of "Survivor" one day late.

After the stunning move Parvati made at the last Tribal Council, Russell confronts her about it and feels that his alliance is falling apart.

The next day, Russell talks to Candice about joining the Villains' alliance, thinking she is the best bet to flip her loyalties. She agrees to flip to their side.

The Reward Challenge is won by the team of Colby, Amanda and Danielle. While on their reward, Danielle discovers a clue to a new Hidden Immunity Idol. Amanda sees her try to hide it and the two fight over it, until Colby tells Amanda to give the clue back to Danielle, which she does.

When the trio returns from their reward, Danielle shares the clue with her alliance and tells them that Amanda and her fought over it. Russell and Danielle go to find the Idol, and Russell finds it and keeps it a secret from his alliance, but shows it to Candice to secure her loyalty.

Sandra tells Rupert that she is on the outside of the Villains alliance and wants to flip over to their side. Rupert believes her and they plot to vote out Russell.

The Immunity Challenge is won by Jerri, securing her first Immunity win in all of the seasons that she's been on Survivor. Sandra and the Heroes plot to vote out Russell, but then change their mind when they figure out that Danielle might have the Immunity Idol and wouldn't give it to anyone. They then decide to vote out Parvati. Russell tells Candice he wants to vote for Amanda because she is a great stratigest, and Candice agrees to vote for her. She also tells Russell that the Heroes are plotting to vote him out. Russell confronts Sandra about it and Sandra confronts Candice about what she said.

At Tribal Council, the issues of trust among the Villains' alliance are discussed, and it is revealed that there are cracks in that alliance. Before the votes are read, Russell plays the Immunity Idol, but for naught since no votes were cast against him. Candice and Sandra stick to the Villains' side to vote out Amanda 6-3. Amanda has always been one of my all-time favorites. She's made it to the end twice, and now she gets to be on the other side of the game as a jury member. Peace out Amanda, love you.

Saturday is a rebroadcast of Saturday Night Live that I have written about, but May 8th is a new episode. Tuesday is a new episode of The Hills, and my next post will be about the premiere episode.

Last night was Survivor. It was a fairly good episode. I will write about it as best as I can remember.

The Heroes recieve a box in their Treemail and are told to wait for the key, which leads them to believe a merge is coming. The Villains recieve a key and a map to the Heroes' camp, which also leads them to believe a merge is coming. They go to the Heroes' camp, they unlock the box and it is revealed that they are now merged. They decide to name their tribe Yin Yang, based on the good and evil sides.

Russell explains to J.T. why Parvati is still there, and he relays it to the rest of the Heroes. But Sandra pulls her old "Pearl Islands" ally, Rupert, aside and tells him the truth. He believes her, and tries to tell the tribe her story, but nobody believes him, as Sandra is a part of the Villains' tribe as well. They decide to tell Russell that they are voting for Parvati, but in reality vote for one of the other Villains. Russell gives Parvati his immunity idol to keep her safe.

Amanda realigns with her ally from Micronesia, Parvati, and Parvati tells her she has a Hidden Immunity Idol. They agree to trust each other.

The first individual Immunity Challenge is won by Danielle after Parvati voluntarily steps off. The Heroes decide to vote for either Sandra or Jerri, believing one of them is less likely to have the idol, while the Villains conspire to vote for J.T. for voluntarily giving Russell his idol.

At Tribal Council, the Heroes and Villains discuss the atmosphere at the camp, where tribe lines still appear to be divided. Before the votes are read, Parvati pulls out her two immunity idols, gives one to Sandra and one to Jerri. The Heroes' votes against Jerri are negated, leaving only the Villains' votes for J.T., who ends up being voted out 5-0. I loved J.T. his first season on, but this season he made a stupid mistake in giving Russell his idol. But I still love him and wish him all the luck in the world. Peace out J.T.

This Saturday is a new Saturday Night Live, with host Gabourey Sidibe and musical guest MGMT. I will do my best to write about that, along with this week's 2 episodes of "16 and Pregnant" (one of which I need to re-watch), and the season premiere of "The Hills".

Last night was a special episode of Saturday Night Live: a documentary about the show during the 2000's. The special was called "SNL in the 2000's: Time and Again".

The documentary covered many aspects of the show, including the 2000 and 2008 presidential elections, September 2001, the anthrax scare, cast members, how the women have kind of taken over the show with cast members such as Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudoph, and now current cast member Kristen Wiig, the SNL Digital Shorts, and knowing when you're pushing the limit in sketches.

People who talked in the documentary included executive producer Lorne Michaels, producers Marci Klien and Michael Shoemaker, past hosts Alec Baldwin and Justin Timberlake, former cast members Rachel Dratch, Horatio Sanz, Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Darrell Hammond, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Will Ferrell and Chris Parnell, writers Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, and current cast members Bobby Moynihan, Abby Elliott, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, Andy Samberg, Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen, Kenan Thompson and Jason Sudeikis.

I think this was a fairly good documentary. Having been a fan of SNL since November 2009, it was interesting to watch how SNL has changed over the course of the last decade. I know I will continue to watch it for years to come, and my dream is to see it live in New York one day. That will be a dream come true.

The new episode is this coming Saturday, with host Ryan Phillippe and musical guest Ke$ha. That recap will come on Monday if not earlier. I'm excited to watch it.

My Survivor recap is one day late, but I figured better late than never.

After the Villains' Tribal Council, Sandra talks about the vote and how her plan to get rid of Coach played out well.

Prior to the Reward Challenge, the tribes are asked to rank the tribe from strongest member to weakest member. This would determine the match-ups at the challenge. The Villains break the Heroes' winning streak and win a feast from Outback Steakhouse. While on the reward, Parvati discovers a clue to a new Hidden Immunity Idol at the camp. She shares the clue with Danielle while keeping Russell out of the loop.

Back at the Heroes' camp, J.T. is convinced that there is a womens' alliance on the Villains side, and decides to give the Hidden Immunity Idol to Russell to save himself should the Heroes win the Immunity Challenge. Amanda and Candice are a little skeptical about it, and rightfully so. J.T. writes a note to Russell about the Idol.

On the Villains' side, Parvati and Danielle search for the Hidden Immunity Idol and find it without Russell knowing. They decide to keep it for themselves and not tell Russell about it.

Before the end of the Immunity Challenge, Colby tells Russell to go talk to J.T. after the challenge, where he would give Russell the idol. The Heroes never lost the lead that they had gained in the challenge and won Immunity for the 3rd consecutive time. J.T. gives Russell the Idol and the Heroes return to camp.

At the Villains' camp, Courtney and Sandra know that one of them is going tonight. Russell shares the Immunity Idol with Parvati and they laugh about the note that J.T. wrote. Parvati and Courtney talk about trying to keep Courtney in the game, and Parvati talks to her alliance of Russell, Jerri, and Danielle about who to vote, saying Courtney would be more likely to stay loyal to them come the merge.

At Tribal Council, Danielle and Sandra argue about trust in the game, because Sandra is not part of the majority alliance. In the end, the votes are cast, and Courtney, the sassy waitress from New York, becomes the second member of the jury in a 5-1 vote. I watched Courtney's first season on youtube. Based on some things I had heard about her, I was prepared not to like her, but after watching her I loved her. Her sassy comments will be sorely missed as they provided comic relief to my Thursday nights. Peace out Courtney, you'll always have a light in my life.

Saturday Night Live is a new episode this Saturday, but in a few minutes, I am going to write a special SNL post about a special about the show that I watched last night.

My 16 and Pregnant recap is 2 days late, so my memory may be a bit fuzzy now, but here you go.

Tuesday's episode featured Lizzie, a 17-year-old high school senior and aspiring musician from Smithfield, VA who aspires to play in the Virginia Orchestra. She and her boyfriend Skyler have been dating for 8 months when she gets pregnant. After learning she is pregnant, she decides to do homeschooling.

Her mom is supportive of her pregnancy, but her dad is a little less warm to the idea. Skyler asks him for permission to propose to Lizzie, which he grants. He proposes to Lizzie and she says yes. At her baby shower, her father reveals that she has graduated from homeschooling and is now going to enroll in college. Following her shower, Lizzie learns that her boyfriend cheated on her at prom. She breaks off the engagement with him, but later they reconcile. She isn't ready to put her ring back on yet, but they are back together.

In January, Lizzie gives birth to a girl that she names Summer Jayde. She enrolls in college to become an ultrasound technician, but ultimately realizes her first job is to be a mom to Summer. Skyler helps out as much as he can. She drops out of school and plans to start a program for medical filing.

I liked that both Lizzie and Skyler were committed to the baby and willing to make sacrifices for her. It was a very good episode where both parents were active.

Next week is going to be a double-header. First, the season finale, which features a girl named Kailyn, and the reunion with Dr. Drew Pinsky. I will recap both of those next week.

Tonight is Survivor. You will get that recap ASAP, and Saturday Night Live is a new episode, that will most likely come on Monday. I still have to write about last week's episode, and I will do that as soon as I can.

Just a quick update for you guys:

My internet access at home for my laptop is currently disabled. So, until I can convince my stepdad to give me the code for the wireless, or until I move out of my house, which I hope will be very soon, updates on TV shows will come one or two days late. And if I find any other videos to share with you guys, they will be up then as well.

I will re-watch the Saturday Night Live skits from the previous episode and write about them here when I do. I may re-watch 16 and Pregnant and Survivor before I write about them. And, starting April 27th, I am going to write about "The Hills". It is in its final season, so I figure I may as well write about the end of an era that began 4 years ago.

Just thought I'd update this letting you know my situation.

Tomorrow night is a new episode of Saturday Night Live. In honor of that, I'm going to share some of my favorite skits from past episodes. They will include monologues, Digital Shorts, sketches, and maybe a cold open as well.

The first skit comes from Charles Barkley's episode, first aired on January 9th, 2010. Andy Samberg was the highlight of the skit. He had very good lines in this.

I like this one because it was really hilarious. Andy always seems to do that for me.

This next skit is from Blake Lively's episode, originally aired on December 5th, 2009. This was her opening monologue:

I loved the fact that the cast members played Muppets, since I've always been a Muppet girl.

The next video is from Taylor Swift's episode, first aired November 7th, 2009. This was the final skit of the night, and a great way to end the show.

this skit was funny because of all the songs. My friend Alexis pointed out that a lot of the singers in it were kind of ending their careers.

This next video may look a little familiar to you! This is the Digital Short from Jude Law's episode, first aired on March 13th, 2010.

This song from The Lonely Island is my jam. You can hear the audience reaction in this one as well.

This video had me re-watching it over and over again for weeks. This is the Digital Short from James Franco's episode, originally aired December 19th, 2009. After telling my friend about this one, I had him watch it..........you'll see what happens.

This video went from being sweet to WHAT THE FREAKIN' HELL IS THIS!?!?!? within 2 minutes. And that's an example of my sense of humor.

This next one is the Digital Short from Joseph Gordon-Levitt's episode, originally aired on November 21st, 2009.

I'm always jamming out to this song. Basically anything that Andy Samberg sings I jam out to. Since I love him.

This next skit is also from Taylor Swift's episode. One of the ones I loved dearly.

when this episode originally aired, I was doing live Tweeting with my friend Alexis, and she said Taylor played the teen with headgear well. She had great lines in this, as did Jason Sudeikis.

This one is also from James Franco's episode. Probably one of my favorite skits this season.

I love it when Andy plays the straight man. One of the comments on NBC's site also said "Andy can teach me the birthing process any day". I agree with that...........anything that comes out of his mouth makes me smile.

This is also from Jude Law's episode. This is his opening monologue.

this was funny because he ran through a night in the life of his run as Hamlet on Broadway, and he mentioned his last episode.

This next one is from Sigourney Weaver's episode, originally aired on January 16th, 2010.

this was one of my favorite skits of the night, and I really hope Riley becomes a recurring character.

This skit is also from Taylor Swift's episode, my favorite skit of that night.

I love when Andy plays the straight man role, and he does so in this skit as a foil to Nasim Pedrad and Taylor's comedic characters. My sister and I act this out all the time.

This next video is the Digital Short from Jon Hamm's episode, first aired on January 30th, 2010.

Andy again plays the straight man role here, and is effectively freaked out. The ending is kind of gross, but it was still a good skit.

This next one was a portion from Weekend Update during January Jones' episode, first aired November 14th, 2009.

After re-watching this over and over again, I perfected my imitation of Nasim doing Kim Kardashian. I can do it really well.

This one is also from Weekend Update, from Sigourney Weaver's episode.

in this one, you can see Seth Meyers's comedic genius come out. He's amazing.

Finally, this portion of Weekend Update is from Zach Galifianakis's episode, originally aired March 6th, 2010.

I never knew Will Forte could be really funny. This song was stuck in my head all week, and now it's gonna be stuck there the rest of my life.

I thought of a good idea for a new blog just from being online.

Since I am an avid fan of Survivor, I've done a few videos for it, and I've found other videos for Survivor contestants or that contestants are in, and I thought I'd share some of my favorites.

First, I'm gonna share a video that features my favorite contestant of last season. Brett Clouser finished 4th on "Survivor: Samoa". I've had the privilege to talk to him on Twitter, he's a sweetheart. This video was made by someone I'm subscribed to on youtube.

After I saw this video, it inspired me to make one of my own. Both the video I made and the one I posted above were posted by Brett on Twitter, so both of them got a lot of views that way. Mine is posted below:

Next, we have a video for another contestant of last season, Monica Padilla. This video was also done by the person who did the first video.

After last season ended, I made a video for the cast. It is very long, but I thought it worked out. That video is below:

I am also currently working on a video for the end of this season. It will take me all season to do since I update it every week (with who is voted off). That video will be posted in my final recap of the season.

The next video is one I made for the winner of last season, Natalie White. Since I really liked her the whole season and was happy that she won, I felt the need to throw together a video for her.

She'll be coming up again in another video. But first I have a few videos from this season as well. The first video idea came out of the blue. Amanda Kimmel has been one of my favorite contestants for awhile, so I made her a video.

After I made this video, I posted it on idolforums.com and got a request to do another one for a different contestant, Stephenie LaGrossa. She's one of my all-time favorite Survivors, so I agreed to do this one for my friend Chris.

This video (youtube disabled the embedding option) was very recently posted by the guy that did the videos for Monica and Brett. I loved this video a lot because it has a song that is dear to my heart. A very short video, but very sweet too.

Finally, a video I found just tonight, that also features last season's winner, Natalie White. She is an alum of the University of Central Arkansas, and did this promotion for the university. Last year's "American Idol" winner, Kris Allen, did one as well. Here is Natalie's:

Tonight is Survivor. Based on the preview that I saw last week, the Villains tribe will spiral out of control.

First off, I must give a shout-out to my buddy Jason. He's a great guy, always listens, and he writes about Survivor too. If you want to read his blog, go here.

Now on Survivor. With Boston Rob out, Coach is worried that the Villains will fall apart, calling Russell a bully and singling out Jerri, his closest ally, for voting for Rob. Coach is hoping that the merge will come soon.

At the Heroes camp, J.T. finds the Hidden Immunity Idol and shares that he found it with the rest of the tribe. They all agree to use it at the merge against one of the Villains. Candice is unsure on what his motives are since he's the leader of the tribe. She aligns with Amanda and they decide to work together.

At the Villains' camp, Parvati uncovers a note to a challenge hinting at a merge, so the tribe brings all of their supplies.

The Reward Challenge is won by the Heroes by a nailbiter, and they win pizza to share with the tribe. Amanda knows they are still catching up, and J.T. knows that a couple of the Villains are on the outside, so they could sway them over to their side.

Back at the Villains' camp, Jerri is furious that they assumed there was a merge. Sandra and Jerri get in an argument about why Sandra and Courtney sat out the challenge, and Danielle and Coach get involved. After that argument, Sandra and Courtney hatch a plan to take Coach out so they do not get voted out at the next Tribal Council should the tribe lose the Immunity Challenge.

Coach talks with Courtney about playing the game. Coach didn't want to play the game without Tyson or Boston Rob. Russell and Sandra talk about voting out Coach. She spreads the lie that Coach is gunning for him and he bought the lie. He talks to Parvati about voting for Coach, the only other remaining male in the Villains tribe.

The Immunity Challenge is won by the Heroes for the second consecutive time after Courtney and Sandra slow the tribe down. Courtney sprains her ankle after the end of the challenge, but is able to walk back to her tribe with Parvati's help.

Knowing that they have to go to Tribal Council tonight, Coach knows he has to get rid of one of the weaker players, and decides to vote for Courtney. Danielle has second thoughts about voting out Coach and has an argument with Russell about it. In light of that, Russell changes his mind and wants to vote for Courtney. The Villains are still up in the air by the time they go to Tribal.

At Tribal Council, the issues of voting out Tyson and Boston Rob are brought up, as well as physicality are brought up. Courtney says a lot of the sassy one-liners that made me like her the first time around, and the votes are cast. Coach is voted out 4-3, and becomes the first member of the jury. He gives Jerri a farewell hug since they were in a strong alliance. Peace out to Coach. Some of his comments were a bit irritating.

Saturday is a new Saturday Night Live, with host Tina Fey and musical guest Justin Bieber. I will write about that, plus anything else that comes up that I feel is worth sharing.

Tonight's 16 and Pregnant was a long episode. It was advertised as a "super-sized" episode, and it was 90 minutes long, as opposed to the normal 60 minutes.

Tonight's episode featured Leah, a cheerleader and incoming high school senior from Elkview, West Virginia, who learns she's having twins. She had only been with her boyfriend, Corey, for a month before she got pregnant.

She learns she is having fraternal twin girls. After her baby shower with her close-knit group of friends, she gets very sick and has some contractions. She goes to the hospital and stays for a few days. After her contractions die down, she is discharged, but ordered to bed rest until after the girls are born. She and Corey move in together.

6 weeks before her due date, Leah goes into labor. She had been staying with her mom for a few days to avoid arguing with Corey, but he comes to support her. She gives birth to twin girls that she names Aliannah and Aleeah. Three days after their birth, Leah is discharged, but the girls have to stay at the hospital for 3 weeks. When they can finally come home, Corey gets two jobs and Leah returns to school. She spends some time with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie, which doesn't sit well with Corey. They argue frequently over her spending time with him. Leah even pointed out that "jealousy will tear them apart".

She spends some time away from Corey, but asks for his continued help as she doesn't have a job. They finally break up after a heated argument over money. After that argument, Corey moves out of their apartment, leaving Leah to take care of the girls by herself. Her ex seemed to act weird around her after having the girls, so she decides not to get back together with him. While out with a friend one Valentine's Day, she learns Corey has started seeing another girl, and it really hurts her. By the end of the episode, Leah reveals that she and Corey still are not on the best of terms.

This was a very good episode. A lot of drama and tensions. Leah cared about her girls, but knew it was harder since there were two of them. Maybe she didn't have to argue with Corey as much, but it was still fun to watch.

Next week's episode features Lizzie, whose boyfriend proposes to her, but at some point they appear to break off the engagement. That should be a very interesting episode.

I might write another post later tonight. We'll see.

Tonight is Survivor. Should be a good episode.

After the Villains' Tribal Council., Russell, Parvati and Danielle rejoiced in their victory of eliminating Tyson, while Boston Rob converses with his alliance. He is a little bit uncertain where Coach and Jerri stand.

Jerri talks with Russell and his alliance of two girls. She states that people are feeling a little depressed. Parvati and Jerri sort out their issues a bit. They're not the best of friends yet, but at least they're on friendly terms now.

Over on the Heroes' side, Rupert points out that Colby has to step up. Colby knows he has something to prove for the Heroes.

The Reward Challenge is won by the Heroes by a blowout after Colby manages to score 2 of the 3 goals and win a trip to a waterfall with food to eat. While on their reward, Candice discovers a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol, which Amanda reads aloud, and J.T. decides they should all look for it together and use it amongst themselves.

Back at the Villains camp, Russell, Coach and Jerri talk about going to the finals together. Jerri reconfirms her alliance with Coach, and states that she doesn't trust Rob. Coach tells Jerri that he feels hurt that she supposedly trusts him and Russell equally. Jerri admits in a confessional that she knows that Russell is in it to win it, as is she, and that Coach is trying to be the "good guy" and that the "good guy" doesn't get far in the game.

At the Immunity Challenge, the Villains had an early lead, but Candice made up a lot of ground, and Amanda and J.T. quickly solved the puzzle for redemption for the Heroes, which means the Villains have to vote out another member.

After the Villains return to their camp, Russell points out that it was one of the most "pitiful" peformances of their tribe. He tells Boston Rob that either Courtney or Sandra has to go for being the weak links. Coach really wants to get rid of Courtney, but Rob wants to vote for Russell. Coach is ultimately torn on what to do. Rob and Jerri talk, and he told her to do whatever she needs to do to get far in the game.

At Tribal Council, Coach points out that losing Tyson severly hurt the tribe, and Rob agrees with it, while Russell and Danielle agree with him. Rob and Russell butt heads once again. Jerri is still unsure on what to do. The votes are cast, and Boston Rob is sent home by a vote of 4-3-1. He has always been one of the best to ever play the game and I've always liked him, since I saw him on The Amazing Race with his wife Amber. Peace out to you Boston Rob. You'll always be one of the greatest.

Next Saturday, "Saturday Night Live" is a rerun that I have written about already, but on April 10, it is a new episode. "16 and Pregnant" is on again on Tuesday, with Leah, a girl who is expecting twins. And then Survivor returns next Thursday, and the Villains seem to fall apart.

Tonight was a new episode of 16 and Pregnant on MTV. It was fairly good.

Tonight's episode featured Nicole, a 16-year-old girl from Longwood, FL. She is dating Tyler, who is 15 and had a falling-out with his mother and moved in with his grandmother when he was 11. Nicole's father passed away when she was 2 and lives with her mom. Nicole and Tyler are expecting their first child. Nicole's mom didn't react like a typical mom would: she was actually happy for her.

Tyler and his mom have another falling out during Nicole's baby shower and the two of them try to distance themselves. Nicole's due date is approaching and she is nervous about it. She and her friends try different tricks to jump-start her labor, but none work. But finally, one day before her due date, she goes into labor. Tyler and his mom reconcile during her labor, and Nicole gives birth to daughter Brooklyn Marie.

The two of them jump from house to house so all of the members of the family can see Brooklyn. Tyler's mom, Farrah, doesn't like that they jump around. Nicole stays up all night with Brooklyn one night and knows that it will be harder. But she's willing to take any challenges.

This was a good episode. I liked that Tyler was actually good to Brooklyn and did stuff without complaning. The first guy all season to do that. Nicole was a good mom and took care of her daughter well.

Next week's episode features a girl named Leah who has twins. This should be a good episode because she's the first girl in the history of 16 and Pregnant to have twins.

Survivor is back on Thursday, so you will get that recap. Saturday Night Live is a rerun that I have already written about, but the following Saturday is a new episode. So that's my schedule for TV recaps. If I find anything else worth sharing, you'll get that as well.

Tonight's blog is going to be a little bit different. Saturday Night Live was a rebroadcast that I had already written about, and I don't have any videos I want to share tonight. This blog post is going to be a bit more serious. I had been meaning to blog about this for awhile.

On February 19th, 2010, my younger brother, Leo, was hospitalized for a cerebral arteriovenous malformation rupture, which is just a fancy way of saying a brain aneurism. He complained of a bad headache and eventually went unconcious and was rushed into surgery. This is a lot for him to go through because he is only 6 years old. He is making very good progress and they're hoping to discharge him from the hospital he's at by the end of April if not sooner.

This blog post is to thank everyone that has gotten me through the past 5 weeks. They will either be because of message boards, Twitter, real-life friends, or through music.

Lizzie: Lizzie is part of a Bible study with me at school, and she's been one of my biggest support systems because she put God on our side to help my brother through it. I keep her updated through texts and she was one of the first people I texted when this whole thing began.

Alexis: one of my closest friends from school and one of the first people I told when the whole thing began. She keeps me entertained and treated me to a movie a week or so after the emergency to take my mind off it. I do my best to keep her updated through texts.

everyone on idolforums.com: my second home is IDF. The day after everything happened, I went to the public library because our internet was out (before everything happened, my stepdad was on the phone trying to get it fixed), and posted a topic in one of the forums. Within a day I had over 15 replies from people I knew and people I didn't know quite as well. I keep them updated as best as I can, when I know things.

everyone on joe-music.com: my support from across the miles. This website is for Joe McElderry, who is best known as the winner of the 6th season of "The X-Factor", the UK version of American Idol. I came to know of him because of youtube and became a fan. So, as you can imagine, most of the people over there are from Europe. They've been so supportive, and one even gave me a Bible verse to look up. Like on IDF, I keep them updated when I know things.

Ashley Trainer: one of the main celebrities I talk to on Twitter. After my major freakout on Twitter through texts when this whole thing started, I tweeted a few of the celebs that I talk to on Twitter regularly (more will come in a minute) to let them know. Ashley was one of the first to respond. She's a sweetheart and I feel like she's been my friend for years.

Alex Wagner-Trugman: another celebrity I became close to because of Twitter. He and I talk pretty regularly. So naturally, I had to tell him about my brother. So he's been a great support system, either through talking to me or keeping me laughing with his tweets (he's hilarious)

Laura Morett: I talk to her semi-regularly. She sends me messages sometimes. And she's also very in touch with God, so she definitely sent some love to him through prayer. It's always good to know that celebrities are sending prayers from fans......makes me thankful for people like them.

Jessica "Sugar" Kiper: another sweetheart, and not just because of her nickname. She and I have started talking semi-regularly. She always has a positive outlook on everything and gave me some love when I told her about my brother.

Steve Means: his support comes 2 ways: through Twitter and music. Steve is a musician based in Nashville, and I met him when he came to my school last October. I have one of his CDs and REALLY need to get his new one (this is where I hate being broke). The night after everything happened, I listened to one of my favorite songs of his, and it gave me a message about never giving up hope. So I tweeted through my phone (mind you, the internet still wasn't fixed yet) that this song had helped me through everything. It took me 3 tweets to get everything I wanted to say out, and I mentioned him by his Twitter username in all 3 of the tweets, and I guess he looked at my profile to see what was going on, and he tweeted me telling me that he hoped my brother's surgery went well, and to take care. He's such a sweetheart and very talented, and those are the two main reasons he's my favorite male singer.

Abby Elliott: a cast member from Saturday Night Live that also keeps in touch with me on Twitter. She has been one of my biggest Twitter support systems, and tells me to hang in there. She's funny, talented, and sweet, and there's a reason why she's my favorite female SNL cast member along with Nasim Pedrad. I think she and I would be great friends.

Dannii Minogue: she only tweeted me once, but that was enough. Dannii usually replies to fans on twitter, and I told her about my brother and that I was worried about him. She told me to give him all the love and that I could. She's very wise and talented. She's amazing.

the Tufts University Beelzebubs: I'm the biggest choir nerd ever. I first heard about the Bubs through the show The Sing-Off, which was an acapella singing group competition. I rooted for them to win since the beginning, and altho they finished second, I see a bright future ahead for them. I have all of their performances from The Sing-Off, plus a few songs prior to the show. Their motto is "fun through song", and when I listen to their performances I smile because I remember how fun they were to watch on TV. And their studio recordings sound amazing. One night they did a question-and-answer session on Twitter (whoever runs their Twitter). I did a 3-tweet description directly to them explaining how they helped me. They directly tweeted me back saying "glad we could be of service!". That made my night.

The Lonely Island: my heroes, plain and simple. They are a comedy/music group. Andy Samberg is a cast member on Saturday Night Live, and Akiva Schaeffer and Jorma Taccone are writers for the show. Their videos and music keep me laughing and smiling even through the most difficult of times. I love them.

and finally, I had to save the best for last:

Jason: one of my closest and dearest friends. He is my rock. He's always stuck by my side through everything. He was one of the first people I told about my brother. I was texting him like a mad fool, and even tho he couldn't respond right away, when we talked online the following Sunday, he told me he knew what was going on and that he hoped my brother was doing better. He's one of the nicest, most caring, most genuine people I have ever met and I know we will always be there for each other forever.

There. I think I got everyone. I love all of you.

You get your Survivor commentary one day early today, since the show has been bumped up to Wednesday.

After Tribal Council, Candice states the reason she voted for Tom instead of James, and Amanda states that she's getting tired of Candice and wants to vote her off. On the Villains side, Russell talks with Boston Rob while secretly conspiring to vote him off. Rob tells Russell to watch his back.

At the challenge, Jeff announces that both tribes are going to Tribal Council, and the tribes will be playing for individual immunity, and once the two tribes win, the two finalists will square off, the winner of that challenge will win food for their tribe. Candice wins for the Heroes and Boston Rob for the Villains, with Rob winning the reward for his tribe.

At the Villains camp, Boston Rob conspires to vote out Parvati while making everyone think Russell is being voted out. Russell, who is aligned with Parvati and Danielle, talks to them about giving the Hidden Immunity Idol to Parvati and voting out Tyson. On the Heroes side, Colby knows that he's the one who is going home and tells the tribe not to worry about scrambling. J.T., Candice, Amanda and Rupert are still undecided whether or not to vote out Colby or James, deciding who is the better competitor. Amanda talks with James about showing the tribe that he's doing okay. Rupert wants Colby to be voted out, and after J.T. and James face off in a race with J.T. winning, J.T. is still contemplating who he is going to vote for.

Back on the Villains side, Rob conspires to split the vote 3-3 between Russell and Parvati. Tyson and Russell talk about voting for Parvati. Russell thinks about giving the Hidden Immunity Idol to Parvati, splitting the votes 3 ways.

At the Villains' Tribal Council, Sandra points out that Russell may have the Immunity Idol, but Russell denies it. Each tribe member points out what the consensus on another tribe member, and the vote begins. Russell gives the Hidden Immunity Idol to Parvati, who then presents it to Jeff, negating any votes cast against her. This proves successful, and Tyson is blindsided 3-2-0. It was definitely a very bold move and Russell made a good move. Peace out Tyson.

At the Heroes' Tribal Council, James talks about running his race against J.T., and Amanda does raise the concern about future challenges. James's funny comments at Tribal Council were a good laugh of the night. Before the vote, the Villains leave the Tribal Council area. Ultimately, the tribe decides that James' injury is too much of a burden on the tribe and he is voted out 5-1. Before he leaves the area, he bids farewell to his closest ally, Amanda. It sucked to seem him go out the way he did. He will always be one of the strongest competitors ever to play Survivor. Peace out James.

Next week, Survivor returns to Thursday night. Should be a good episode.

Tonight was a new episode of "16 and Pregnant" on MTV.

Tonight's episode featured a girl named Samantha, who is from Rosenberg, TX. She lives with her mom Soledad, her mom's boyfriend Greg, and her younger brother. Her mother is also pregnant. Samantha's boyfriend is named Eric, and when Soledad found out that the two of them were sexually active, she forbade Samantha from seeing him. His mother, Estella, snuck her around so they could see each other, but she had to reveal the ruse when Samantha got pregnant, driving a wedge between the two of them.

Samantha and Eric talk about moving in together, since Samantha already has to share a room with her brother and with two new babies on the way, it will be even more crowded. At one of her doctor's appointments, she learns she is having a girl. Her first attempts to reconcile the feud between Soledad and Estella prove moot, so she talks with her dad. She mentions that she is considering moving in with Eric, and after talking with both her mom and dad, she decides to continue living at home.

After the couple attends homecoming, Samantha gets both families together for dinner one night and Estella and Soledad make up. Samantha's due date passes, so she decides to induce her labor. The contractions are too much for her to face and she has a meltdown in the delivery room. When she finally gets her epidural, it is learned that she has to have a Caesarean section. Through this, she gives birth to a baby girl she names Jordynn. She is still very sore from the operation when she is first able to see Jordynn, but she does get to see her.

After she arrives home, she and Eric spend more time together taking care of Jordynn, but Eric doesn't appear interested in helping, leaving Samantha to do all the work, plus her homework. She eventually talks with him and he agrees to help out more.

All in all, this was a fairly good episode. Samantha put her daughter before everything else. And Eric seemed to get better by the end of the episode. Samantha seems like a sweet girl, and I can't wait to see her at the reunion.

I have a new music video to review for you guys. This video is of Miranda Cosgrove's latest single, "Kissin' U". Miranda is an actress best known for her work on "Drake and Josh" and "iCarly", and she's also recording her first album. My favorite song of '09 was "Raining Sunshine", also by Miranda, and it's helped me through some hard times. One night I tweeted a friend telling him music from both him and Miranda got me to stop crying, and I mentioned Miranda by her twitter name, and I guess she saw it and she told me to feel better. That was really sweet of her.

Anyway, onto "Kissin' U". This is her lead single from her upcoming album, "Sparks Fly" and was co-written by her and pop matrix Dr. Luke.

The music video is shown below:

The subject of the song is about falling in love and it becoming very clear when the girl is with him. The music video was shot in Santa Monica, CA. I really liked the use of graphic designs and the scenes in the club and with Miranda solo on the beach were nice as well. And I liked the design at the end, the butterfly that has Miranda and her lover in the wings.

All in all, this music video was very good. Miranda doesn't disappoint with this single, and it makes you want to get up and blast this song in your room and sing along.

Here is a music video review for you guys. This video is for the song "Heaven is a Place on Earth" by Belinda Carlisle. The song was released in 1987 and was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of December 5th.

I'm first going to say that I LOVE 80's music with all my heart. Some of the music videos are a bit "out there", but the music is amazing. I first heard this song in an ending scene of the movie "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" and I wanted to know who sang it and what it was called. So I re-watched the scene, googled the lyrics, and found the song! And now I love it.

The music video was interesting. I liked the use of light-up globes to represent heaven on earth. The song is about falling in love and wanting it to be like heaven on earth. Belinda has some nice scenes in this either with her man or by herself dancing around. It was all in all a good video.

First is a video that I just loved so much that I wanted to share it with all of you. This video is from Tiffany Alvord, a 17-year-old girl from California that's a singer who became known on youtube. This video was written and produced by Kurt Schneider.

When I saw that Tiffany (who is very sweet) had posted this video, I had to watch it. Taylor Swift is one of my favorite singers, and Tiffany's medley of her was amazing. This medley has some of my favorite Taylor Swift songs in it, two of which I've learned/am learning in my voice lessons. The concept was really fun, and I hope to get an mp3 of this song.

Tonight is a rebroadcast of Saturday Night Live. The episode is one I have not written about. This episode originally aired on January 16th, 2010, and was hosted by Sigourney Weaver, featuring musical guests the Ting Tings. As always, the sketches will be written about in chronological order.

Cold Open: A nice way to talk about the feud between Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien. Jason Sudeikis as David Letterman didn't do much besides throw pencils at the camera. Nice to see former cast member Darrell Hammond pop up as Leno.

Monologue: Sigourney Weaver made her second hosting appearance on this show on the original broadcast, her first gig was in 1986. She talked about past roles, said "bitches" on live television, and talked about the years her father was president of NBC. I was surprised at how funny she was. She was awesome.

Grady Wilson's 50 and Freaky: On paper, this seemed a bit nasty, but executed, it was nasty and funny. Kenan Thompson has been awesome since the mid-1990's when he was on "All That". And Sigourney was pretty good.

Lady Stars of Darts: The ESPN Classic sketches always make me roll my eyes. This one was no exception. Sigourney looked a bit scary as a Russian girl. I didn't really laugh at this sketch, mostly groan at the douche jokes and roll my eyes.

Digital Short: the Laser Cats sketches appear once a season. This one featured James Cameron in a cameo role and Sigourney Weaver in her iconic role from the "Alien" series, Ellen Ripley. This short paid homage to all of Cameron's films over the years, including "The Terminator", "Avatar", "Alien" and "Titanic". It was pretty dang awesome.

Disco Booty Junction: I had one of the songs from this sketch stuck in my head last week, so I had to watch the sketch again. Sigourney and Kristen Wiig make a super team as Amber and Cream, even though we never knew who was who. Kenan was effectively frustrated.

Weekend Update: Seth Meyers, the current longest-running cast member of the current cast of SNL (having been on the show since 2001), is a comedic genius. Plus he's good-looking. I loved his breakdown of the feud of Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno as a marriage. Andy Samberg, also a comedic genius and very good-looking, pops up as Larry the Goose. His goose puns were fun, and I loved his honking, even tho it sounded more like squawking. Abby Elliott, who is one of my favorite SNL cast members because she's talented and also a sweetheart and has helped me through some rough times, pops up as Meryl Streep. She was funny in this. And I loved that Seth took a moment to talk about efforts to relief in Haiti, and also made a "Baby Got Back" joke. Like I said, he's a comedic genius.

Avatar parody: Of course they had to mention Avatar because of the host. Sigourney played her character in Avatar, and Bill Hader played the Jake to Nasim Pedrad's Neytiri. Having not seen the movie, it was pretty a pretty good parody.

Riley: "You bitch!" could become a new catchphrase around SNL. Fred Armisen was funny in this and I hope this character becomes recurring. Andy was a nice foil to Fred. Sigourney was the reasonable one, and Jason Sudeikis was good too.

Internet Buzz: This is what happens when you Google yourself. Sigourney was awesome in this, and she said "bitch" on air again.

Fire and Rice: I understand what it's like being afraid of heights, I am as well. Sigourney was pretty good in this. The ending seemed a bit painful tho.

That's a wrap for tonight! Survivor is on a special day this week, Wednesday. I am unsure what's going on that moved it up to Wednesday, but you will get your Survivor commentary a day early next week. And 16 and Pregnant is on Tuesday, as usual. This episode will feature a girl named Samantha who has to have a C-section. If anything else comes up that is worth blogging about, you will get that as well.

my last blog post of the night is another music video review.

This video is of the latest single from Lady Gaga, "Telephone", which features Beyonce Knowles as a guest artist. The single is from Lady Gaga's album "The Fame Monster". The music video premiered on E! News last Thursday night. The concept of the video is a sequel to the music video for her single "Paparazzi" and is structred as a 9-and-a-half minute mini-movie.

The plot of the video was a bit weird, but the concept was artistry at its finest. Lady Gaga is becoming one of the greatest artists of this century and her music is so fun. And it was nice to have Beyonce in the mix as well.

Another blog post for me. I decided to do one more post in addition to this one.

Since 16 and Pregnant was on tonight, I thought it'd be a good idea to share some of my favorite names that I want to name my future kids. I'll do my favorites by gender and how much I like the name:

Girls:

Caroline Blair: my absolute favorite name for a girl. I WILL name my first daughter that and have had that name set for nearly 2 years. Caroline will be named after the song "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond. One of my all-time favorite songs. David Archuleta performed it on American Idol the week Neil Diamond mentored the contestants, and the Beelzebubs performed the song on "The Sing-Off" after the judges chose it for them. And then Blair came about when I was trying to think of a good middle name that would ring with Caroline. I finally thought of the "Gossip Girl" books and chose Blair after one of the main characters, Blair Waldorf.

Audrina Nicole: This name has a bit of a double meaning to me. My grandmother on my dad's side is named Audrey, and I've always had a good relationship with her, so I wanted my future daughter to have a bit of a family name, but I like Audrina better. Plus, she'd share her name with one of my favorite cast members on "The Hills", Audrina Patridge. And I thought Nicole just sounded good with it.

Jessica Leigh: I always have loved names that begin with "J". Jennifer, Jessica, Jocelyn, Jayden, Jaci, Jamie, etc. Jessica is one of my favorite names for a girl, plus it is the name of one of my favorite movie characters, Jessica Rabbit of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". And Leigh sounded great with it. And we can call her Jessie or Jess for short.

Jenelle Taylor: As mentioned above, I love names that begin with "J". After seeing American Idol and 16 and Pregnant, both of which featured girls named Janell or Jenelle, I have grown to love that name with the latter spelling. And Taylor just sounded good with it.

Boys:

Zachary Daniel: this will be my first son's name. I've always loved the name Zachary and have so many people I like with that name. We will call him Zach for short. His middle name was originally going to be David-Alexander, then I changed it to Daniel because I thought it sounded better.

Elliott Clayton: my favorite name for a boy for over 10 years has been Elliott. So I will have a son named Elliott eventually. Clayton is after one of my favorite singers, Clay Aiken (whose full first name is Clayton).

Michael Timothy-David: Michael is one of my favorite names for a boy, and one of my best friends from high school has this exact first and middle name. I want to honor him because he's a sweet kid and has been a great support system over the years.

Christopher Allen: like Audrina, this name has a double meaning to me. One of my very very best friends is named Chris, and so is my cousin. So I'd be honoring both family and friends by having a son named Christopher (Chris for short). And Allen sounded good with it.

Jordan Aiden: again, I like names that begin with "J". And this particular J name has a meaning to me: my very first crush in high school was a guy named Jordan. I was a freshman and he was a senior, so I knew we had no chance in hell of being together, but he was still a good guy and I was friends with both him and his two younger sisters. One is a year older than me and the other a year younger than me. And Aiden is one of my favorite names for a guy so I thought it'd be good.

I thought the video was very good. Andy Samberg is a comedic genius, and Julian Casablancas was a nice addition. My only problem with this video is that they cut the entire second verse from the video. Go here to listen to the full song. It's a very good song, and the Lonely Island is one of my favorite groups. Their music is addicting.

Tonight I'm going to be posting 3 posts in this blog. One of them will be something I usually blog about, one will feature a new video from one of my favorite music groups, and the 3rd about something I felt the need to blog about.

The first blog of tonight will be about this week's episode of "16 and Pregnant".

This episode featured Lori, an incoming high school senior at an all-female Catholic high school who lives in Fort Thomas, KY. She was adopted by her parents at a young age and doesn't know anything about her birth mother. Her boyfriend Cory got her pregnant.

At first, Lori and Cory's intentions were to keep the baby, but Lori's mother, Mary Jo, feels that the two of them are not able to raise a baby, so she tries to get them to look into open adoption. Lori is at first unsure about that, because she doesn't want her son-to-be to go through the same things that she went through.

As time goes on, Lori's decision keeps changing. She at first decides to keep the baby and move in with Cory and his roommate, but then Cory isn't able to talk to his roommate about her moving, in, so she decides to look into adoption after all. She settles on a couple, Brad and Jennifer. But a couple of weeks before Lori's due date, the couple back out of the adoption because they felt concerned that they wouldn't be ready for a child at this stage. So Lori and her mom look into an adoption social worker, who helps Lori and Cory choose another couple. Lori eventually gives birth to a boy that she and the adoptive parents name Aiden. They have an adoption ceremony where Lori says goodbye to Aiden, but knows that in an open adoption, goodbye isn't forever.

This was a fairly good episode. Lori felt she made the right decision for Aiden, and I understand that it's hard to give a child away. I personally could never do it. So I applaud Lori for being a strong person and I wish Aiden and the new adoptive family the best.

Next week's episode will feature a girl named Samantha that has to have a C-Section. I'll be sure to blog about it. I have two more blog entries coming up for you tonight.

Tonight is a new Saturday Night Live episode, with host Jude Law and musical guest Pearl Jam. As always, skits will be in chronological order.

Cold Open: A nice way to handle a congressman's recent resignation from office. Bobby Moynihan was awesome, and Andy Samberg, as always, had some good moments.

Monologue: a good taste in the day in the life of Jude Law on Broadway. Very dramatic and fun.

Ford Hybrid Out of Control: nice to see the dynamic duo of Abby Elliott (a sweetheart <3) and Kenan Thompson (who is always awesome) acting together. Funny.

Secret Word: I believe this skit was in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's episode. Kristen Wiig had some good lines in this, and Jude did a good job in it as well.

Broadview Security: Reminds me of the Brinks commercials from awhile ago. Very good. Nasim was effective as a scared girl.

Spanish Assasin: Abby played a dumb blonde well, and Jude was sexy and funny.

Digital Short: I was wondering when this song from The Lonely Island was gonna be on SNL, since I had heard a lot about it. Andy Samberg is a freakin' genius when it comes to these things.

Weekend Update: Seth Meyers, like Andy Samberg, is a freakin' comedic genius. Kenan was nice as Whoopi Goldberg on something outisde of The View parodies. Seth looked effectively uncomfortable during that bit. Nice to see Jerry Seinfeld pop up too! "Really!? With Seth and Jerry" made me crack up.

The Twilight Zone: Jude did a good job, and Abby was a nice foil to his spastic character. Bobby was creepy and funny at the same time.

Hamlet auditions: Always nice to see Andy Samberg as Nicolas Cage. Bill Hader as Al Pacino and Jason Sudeikis as Sam Elliott were good as well.

Kickspit Underground Rock Festival: this was in Blake Lively's episode, and it was awesome then, and still awesome now.

Court Reporter: this was in Jon Hamm's episode. Fred Armisen had good lines in that episode, and he had some good ones in this one too.

Talk Show With Ravish: Nasim did a nice job in this, and it was a nice parody of late night talk shows. I hope this becomes a recurring sketch.

That's a wrap! Next week's episode is a rebroadcast, but it is one I have not reviewed, so I will write about it on this blog. Also, I will write about the last episode of Survivor, since it is not on next Thursday. And of course I will write about 16 and Pregnant and any other things I feel the need to share.

Tonight is a new episode of "16 and Pregnant" on MTV.

This episode features Chelsea, a fun-loving incoming high school senior who lives in Vermillion, SD. She lives with her dad most of the time. Her boyfriend is Adam, who seems to have a problem with everything she does. He initially didn't want a baby, but then changed his mind.

After a talk with Chelsea's dad, Chelsea and Adam reconcile. Chelsea has been having false labor pains, and she is told the baby may come early. Her friend Laura helps her through the later stages. Adam and Chelsea are going to attend the final big party of the summer, but Chelsea has trouble getting a hold of him. Adam finally shows up at the party and ignores Chelsea all night, which makes Chelsea feel like things are going in the wrong direction.

Eventually, Adam reconciles with Chelsea again, but her friends are concerned for her well-being. School begins, and Chelsea goes into labor during her math class and gives birth to a girl named Aubree Skye. She is born prematurely, but after staying in the hospital for a few days, she is going to be okay. Adam leaves after visiting her for awhile to fix his car. Even though he promised to step up, he leaves again to attend a car show.

After spending a week with her mom, Chelsea returns back home and discovers that Aubree could possibly have a breathing disorder that preemies are at risk for. Adam doesn't show up and Chelsea contemplates breaking up with him for not stepping up.

After Chelsea and Adam talk, Adam completely shuts Chelsea out. Chelsea goes to meet with her guidance counselor but arrives there too late. She decides to go to her homecoming game to spend time with her friends. After Adam sends Chelsea a cruel text message about Aubree, she breaks up with him and changes Aubree's last name to her own. She talks to her dad about returning to school, and knows it will be hard.

This was a fairly good episode. I'm glad Chelsea finally saw the light about Adam and ended things with him. She was a good mom towards Aubree and is doing her best to make it through school.

Next week's episode will feature a girl named Lori. I'll be sure to write about that, Survivor, and Saturday Night Live, plus anything else I feel the need to share in this blog.

Tonight you get a double-header from me. I'm recapping 2 episodes of "16 and Pregnant": last week's rerun that I only half-paid-attention to, and then tonight's new episode.

First, we have last week's episode. Last week's episode featured Valerie, a 15-year-old homeschooled high school sophomore who lives in a suburb of Oxford, PA. She and her boyfriend Matt learn she is pregnant. Matt breaks up with her and says he doesn't want her to contact him unless it is about the baby.

Valerie gets a lot of support from her friends and her parents. She wants to return to regular school because she thinks homeschool is boring. After a false alarm, Matt moves to Wilmington, DE to get a better job. She wants to return to regular school, but her parents are against her going back do to having her skipped a lot of school in the past.

After not hearing from Matt for several days, and her due date passing, Valerie goes into labor, and Matt comes to support her through her labor. When her water breaks, it is discovered the baby may have some complications. She gives birth to a baby girl that she names Nevaeh, who appeared to have meconium aspiration syndrome after birth. She is transferred to another hospital and some tests are performed, and it turns out that she is okay. Matt returns to Delaware but promises to visit.

Valerie wants to return to regular school, but the costs of daycare for Nevaeh are too much for her to afford, so she returns to homeschool. Matt comes to visit for a weekend and he and Valerie discuss their relationship when he takes care of Nevaeh. Valerie knows it will be hard on her, but has said it's getting easier because Matt is a good father.

I really liked Valerie and thought she was a good mother to Nevaeh. Matt started off being immature, but he got better.

My next entry will be about the upcoming episode, featuring a girl named Chelsea.

Today I went to see the movie "Shutter Island" in theaters. I had heard mixed things on it. Some people said it was good, some people said it was hard to follow, and my mom thought it looked creepy. The critics who host my favorite movie-reviewing show both said to skip it. I saw this movie with a friend who is a huge fan of the main actor in the film, and she suggested I see it with her to take my mind off stress that's been going on in my life.

The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley. Two U.S. Marshals, played by DiCaprio and Ruffalo, travel to a remote island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the disappearance of an escaped patient from a mental institution. The patient was housed there for drowning her 3 young children and disappeared without a trace.

All the while, DiCaprio's character has been suffering from hallucinations and dreams about his late wife, who died in a fire two years prior to the events.

The film dragged a bit in the first half and fell a bit flat, but the twist towards the end picked it up a notch. Without giving anything away, I will say that something happens to one of the main characters that you would not expect.

I was in need of a good pick-me-up due to stressful things that have been going on in my life. This film gave me that, and it was nice to spend some time with a good friend. I will give Shutter Island *** out of ****. Next week is my spring break, and I'm hoping to see "Alice in Wonderland" during that time. Will keep you posted, plus tomorrow I'm going to try to re-watch "16 and Pregnant" so I can write about that.

Saturday Night Live is on tonight, with host Zach Galifianakis and musical guest Vampire Weekend. I am unfamiliar with both of these acts, so this will be an interesting episode. The skits will appear in chronological order, altho most of the cold open I missed because I was cleaning up a mess I made in the kitchen.

Cold Open: Like I said, I missed most of this because I was cleaning up a mess I made, but what I did see of this was okay.

Monologue: The extended clapping at the beginning was funny. Zach did a good job with this, just expressing all his different "looks". He seemed nervous, or perhaps that was just part of his act. His piano playing was a nice addition as well.

Kissing Family: This skit was in James Franco's episode, and it was decent. Jenny Slate was effectively uncomfortable.

Bodea: If I heard the words "and the bodea....." one more time, I would have probably pulled my hair out. But at least Andy Samberg played the straight man role in this one. I love him.

Zach Drops by the Set: Nice to see Zach popping up in random places. An interesting idea for a sketch.

The Today Show: Jenny played the straight-man role here as Hoda Kotb. Kristen did a good job as Kathie Lee. Zach hardly appeared in the sketch, but when he did it was awesome.

Weekend Update: I always enjoy Weekend Update. Seth Meyers cracks me up like no other. Kenan as Mo'Nique was pretty good. Will Forte popped up as himself to talk about National Women's Month. His song was very catchy and will most likely be stuck in my head the rest of the week.

What Up With That?: I was wondering when this sketch was gonna be on again! This is one of my favorite SNL sketches and it's always fun. I always jam out to Kenan's little song. Paul Rudd and Frank Rich made cameos in this sketch. Paul seemed a bit confused as to what was going on. Zach has some mad flute-playing skills too.

The Situation Room: Jason Sudeikis's impression of Wolf Blitzer is always fun to see, and The Situation Room is a good show. However, this sketch was kind of awkward.

Pageant Talk: Finally, Zach gets a little more screen time. He had some good lines in this. And Jenny Slate, even tho she didn't say much, did a good job in this as well.

Next week's episode is going to be hosted by Jude Law, and the musical guest is Pearl Jam. I love Jude Law, so I am looking forward to seeing it.

I apologize for lack of updates. Due to a medical emergency on American Idol, the performance dates were switched, so due to concentrating on voting for my favorite contestant, I have to re-watch "16 and Pregnant" so I can blog about it.

However, tonight, I was able to watch Survivor, so here is that recap for you.

After the Villains return from Tribal Council, Coach is very upset over some things that Sandra said about him and wants to quit the game. He turns to his former Tocantins ally, Tyson, for support, and Tyson, along with Boston Rob, convince him to stick it up and he remains in the game.

The reward challenge is won by the Villains, redeeming their loss at the last challenge, and wins tools and a tarp, which they selected from a Sears catalog. Inside the tools, once discovered back at camp, is a clue to a hidden immunity idol at their camp. Russell immediately goes off and looks for it, for which Boston Rob targets him.

The Heroes also discover a clue to a hidden immunity idol at their camp, and the entire camp searches for it. Tom discovers the idol and hides it inside his sock. Amanda suspects he found it and targets him for elimination.

The immunity challenge is the only challenge in the history of Survivor that has never been completed. The challenge was originally done in Survivor: Samoa, but was stopped due to a medical emergency. The Villains win the challenge, forcing the Heroes to vote out another member.

At camp, Tom is the obvious target due to having the immunity idol, being a strong competitor, and having already won the game once before. Another target is Colby due to being a strong ally with Tom. Tom wants to target Candice due to her being scatterbrained, but Amanda and Cirie don't want one of their alliance members to be voted out. J.T. overhears Cirie freaking out over voting out Candice, and turns to Colby and Tom about it. Tom comes up with the idea of using the idol he found and voting out Cirie. J.T. is unsure on who to trust.

At Tribal Council, issues of trust are raised. Before the votes are read, Tom plays the immunity idol, negating the votes that Cirie, Candice and Amanda cast against him. J.T. ultimately sticks with Tom and Colby, and Cirie is voted out 3-2-0. I knew that Cirie would be an early threat in this round of the game due to her being one of the greatest strategists ever to play Survivor, so I wasn't surprised that she got voted out this early on. That said, I have always loved Cirie and was bummed to see her go. Peace out Cirie, you will always be one of the best to ever play.

As soon as I re-watch 16 and Pregnant, I will recap that episode. Saturday Night Live's new episode is this Saturday, with host Zach Galifianakis and musical guest Vampire Weekend. Both of these people/artists I am unfamilar with, so this will be an interesting episode.

Tonight, since Saturday Night Live was on, I felt the need to do a blog about one of my favorite cast members, plus some stuff he's done prior to SNL.

Andy Samberg has been a cast member on the show since 2005, and the first time I watched the show I was immediately drawn to him. He was really gorgeous, and as I watched I thought he was funny as heck.

As I kept watching I started developing my crush on him. I realized that he was part of the group The Lonely Island, and that that group has done the song "I'm On a Boat". My friend Hayley showed me that video last year and I loved it.

the video, which features rapper T-Pain, has reached over 42,000,000 views on youtube and has become one of my favorite videos.

My friend Amanda told me to look up some of their older stuff, and I found the theme song for their show "Awesometown", and I loved it.

Andy's part of the song in the solo's is so random that it's funny, and Jorma Taccone's part just cracks me up because he's being contradictory.

Some of their videos, for example the one below from the set of their upcoming movie MacGruber, are really random and silly.

That one just cracks me up the whole time. They're really hilarious.

Another one of their earlier videos is really epic and I jammed out to that song for weeks (youtube disabled the embedding option).

Finally, I thought I'd post their most popular video, and one of the most popular videos on youtube (as of today, has over 78,000,000 views). The subject of the song is WTF-worthy and kind of random, but I admit that I love the song. So here it is for your viewing pleasure:

It's Saturday Night! So time for me to blog about SNL. Tonight's host and musical guest is Jennifer Lopez. I love her music.

Cold Open: nice to make fun of the new "We Are The World". Nice to see host and musical guest Jennifer "J-Lo" pop up as Rihanna.

Monologue: Kind of strange, but fun. J-Lo is awesome. Her delivery is pretty good.

Ladies Curling: always good to see Twinkle and Stink, but the sponsors always make me cringe. Plus my grandma always likes to watch curling.

SNL Digital Short: very interesting subject, but funny.

Hollywood Dish: I remember this sketch from Taylor Swift's episode. It was kind of strange then, and kind of strange now. And Jen did a good job of ranting in Spanish.

Telemundo coverage of the Olympics: Funny, and interesting. Glad to see they handled this.

Undercover Celebrity Boss: I love the real show this skit is making fun of, so it was nice to see that pop up. Kristen Wiig's one-liner was awesome.

Weekend Update: Seth Meyers is amazing. Bobby Moynihan is awesome too. Nice to see him cameo as himself. Fred Armisen's gravelly voice was a nice addition to his impression of David Patterson.

Besos y Lagrimas: I loved how over the top this was. Very dramatic and fun.

Eternal Spark of Love: I remember this from Taylor Lautner's episode, and I loved it then, and I still love it now. Kenan does some good commentary for these skits.

Smash Mouth in the closet: a clever idea and I loved Jennifer and Nasim jamming out together at the end.

Car Horns and More: Jenny Slate did this in another episode, only with doorbells. It was a cool concept then and kind of cool now. Nice to see Jenny Slate do a lot of stuff in this episode.

Closet Organizer: weird concept before, still weird now.

That's it for my SNL commentary, but I'm going to do another blog tonight about one of the cast members of SNL, and his comedy group, and share some of my favorite videos of theirs.

Tonight Survivor was on. I chose to watch that over American Idol because I do commentary for this blog about Survivor.

Anyway. The Heroes are looking for a miracle since two of their members have gone out. James just goes on and on about how he wants to win. It's annoying.

Over at the Villains side, Russell and Parvati confirm their alliance, while Coach and Randy worry about Parvati's past relationships with people who are on the Heroes side. Russell hides the machete used to kill chickens and open up coconuts.

Candice and J.T. talk about forming an alliance, and J.T. plays over to the dark side a bit by lying to Cirie about how Candice doesn't trust her. Cirie talks with Candice about it, and Candice makes sure that she didn't really say it.

The combined Reward/Immunity Challenge is won by the Heroes by a blowout. They are granted safety from Tribal Council, which means the Villains are attending their first Tribal Council of the game.

After the challenge, Coach and Randy talk about voting for Parvati due to her ties to the other tribe. Boston Rob brings up Randy's name for being the weakest member of the tribe. Jerri also wants to vote for Parvati for her potential ties to the other tribe.

At Tribal Council, camp life conditions and past relationships are discussed. Jerri and Coach put their vendettas against Parvati aside for the night to vote out Randy 9-1. I never liked Randy. His first season in Gabon, he really irritated me with his bad attitude. This time around he just complained too much. So peace out and good riddance to Randy.

Tonight was a new episode of "16 and Pregnant" on MTV. Sorry that this recap is up so late.

Tonight's episode featured Nikkole. She is 16 years old, a cheerleader and incoming high school junior from Monroe, MI. She lives with her mom, Rikki, and her brother Brett. After she tells her boyfriend Josh that she is pregnant, he breaks up with her because he's not ready for a baby. Her mom and friends support her through the pregnancy. After a heart-to-heart talk with Josh, Nikkole decides that he has changed and they get back together.

Nikkole learns that she is having a boy, and she plans to name him Lyle. Josh seems to support Nikkole throughout the third trimester of her pregnancy, and when she decides to go to homecoming, he encourages her to go and that he'll meet up with her later (he can't go to the dance because he got expelled from school). She goes to the dance and after an hour goes to meet Josh, but he isn't there. She calls him and he says he doesn't want to leave his friend's house.

After Nikkole leaves school for a few weeks, she decides she can't wait any longer and decides to induce her labor. During her labor, Josh and her mom Rikki argue about his immaturity. After 27 hours of labor, Nikkole welcomes her son, Lyle. Rikki bans Josh from coming over to Nikkole's house, so she has to go over there for Lyle to see him. Eventually, she learns that Josh is still seeing his ex behind Nikkole's back, and the two of them break up for good. Nikkole and her mom decide to raise Lyle together.

My grandma is currently in town because of something that's going on with my little brother, and she watched this episode with me. She said that people never change. Nikkole truly believed that Josh had changed. All in all, this episode was really good. I liked Nikkole more than I liked the girl last week, Jenelle. Nikkole was actually nice to her mom and willing to stay home and help with Lyle.

Next week's episode chronicles a girl named Valerie, whose baby has some health problems. I'll be sure to write about it.

Why does love always feel like a battlefield?

Sorry for the slight delay on my Survivor update, my stepdad screwed up the internet trying to set it up on his new Mac, but it's back up and running now.

So at the Villains camp, their lack of shelter is getting them all wet, and Boston Rob doesn't like it. He wants to take charge and make a better shelter.

The next day, at the Villains camp, the tribe struggles to build a shelter, and Randy doesn't like it and complains about it in a confessional. Boston Rob tries to take charge but gets more tired and dizzy. He goes to take a break and Jerri finds him unconcious in the jungle. She calls for the medical team, and they assess that he has the flu, but is clear to continue.

Over at the Heroes camp, Rupert secretly targets Stephenie for elimination should their tribe lose the next Immunity Challenge due to being strong (she outlasted her whole tribe her first season in Palau). Stephenie is close with her former Palau ally Tom, and also with Colby.

At the combined Reward/Immunity Challenge, the Heroes had a strong lead going into the challenge, but lost it during the staircase assembly. J.T. tried to lead the challenge but everyone talked over each other and James quickly gets frustrated, giving the Villains their second straight Immunity Challenge win. For the Heroes, it's another trip to Tribal Council.

Back at the Heroes camp, James targets Stephenie for elimination for the same reason as Rupert, but Colby and Tom talk with Stephenie and target Amanda for elimination due to being physically weak. The three of them talk to Cirie and Candice and try to sway them over to their side.

At Tribal Council, James is quick to put the blame on Stephenie for losing the challenge, but Tom and Colby quickly come to her defense. After a tense Tribal Council, Cirie and Candice still show loyalty to James and J.T. and Stephenie is voted out 6-3. Stephenie is my all-time favorite runner-up along with Stephen Fishbach. I loved her her first two seasons in Palau and Guatemala, even though I sort of watched those two seasons on-and-off. I also made a video for her that I will share with you in a little bit. Peace out Steph. You're amazing and will be missed.

Tonight was the premiere of season 2 of "16 and Pregnant" on MTV. My friend Lauren got me into this show last summer and it's now one of my addictions. I will be recapping the episodes of this season on this blog, along with "Survivor" and "Saturday Night Live".

Tonight's season premiere highlighted Jenelle, a 16-year-old party girl from Oak Island, NC. She is currently dating Andrew, a former model who is currently out of a job, a heavy drinker, had his driver's license taken away from him and still lives with his parents 4 hours away from her. Things in her world change when she discovers she's pregnant. Her mom, Barbara, and Andrew don't get along, and she and her mom argue a lot about Andrew not stepping up to help her. As the baby's due date gets nearer, Jenelle begins to realize that her mom has a good point, and she gets into a big fight with him one night when she's out with her friends.

Andrew does show up in time for Jenelle's baby to be born, and after 12 hours of labor, she gives birth to a baby boy named Jace. Andrew and Barbara ignore each other and Jenelle and Barbara argue about Andrew once again. After she is allowed to go home, Jenelle continues to go out with her friends and go to parties while Barbara takes care of Jace. This doesn't sit well with Barbara and she and Jenelle get into several more arguments about her behavior. All the while, Andrew hasn't been in contact with Jenelle and when he finally does call her, she learns he spent a week in jail for DUI, and he is continuing to drink even after spending time in jail. This is the final straw for Jenelle and after one last argument, she breaks up with him.

Barbara and Jenelle get into a huge argument about her behavior. Barbara thinks that at some point Jenelle will get up and leave Jace behind and never come back. Jenelle argues about it and threatens to move out with Jace and disown her family once she turns 18. Her friends Lauren and Amber come over and they talk for awhile, and they tell her that she needs to stay home with Jace more often, and Jenelle sees the light in that. She makes up with her mom, stays at home more often and tells her mom that she would like her help to take care of Jace. She plans on graduating high school early and getting a job to help support her and Jace.

I think this was a pretty good premiere episode. I liked Jenelle although I do agree that she did need to take responsibility and take care of Jace more often, and she did that in the end. I do hope she finds something that helps her and her mom and Jace get through life together. And I applaud her for breaking it off with Andrew because even she had some doubts that he was the right one for her. She was strong and broke it off with him.

Next week's episode will feature a girl named Nikkole. I can't wait. The new episode of "Survivor" will be on Thursday. SNL will not be on because of the Olympics, but will return on the 27th. I will keep you posted on anything that happens in my life between now and then.

Tonight kicked off a new season of "Survivor". This is Heroes vs. Villains. And so far, it looks like it's gonna be great.

The 20 contestants arrived in Samoa via helicopter, and were divided up as Heroes and Villains. After giving their first impressions, they go into their first challenge. The challenge was first done in "Survivor: Exile Island". The Heroes emerge victorious despite Stephenie dislocating her shoulder and Rupert breaking his toe, and win flint to start a fire.

The Heroes get a nice start at their camp, by building a nice shelter and catching some hens and a rooster. Over on the Villains side, Russell builds alliances with Danielle, Parvati and Boston Rob, while Coach and Jerri build an alliance. The girls tease them about possibly developing romantic relations. Rob manages to get a fire started despite not having flint.

Back at the Heroes, Tom manages to get a fire started using the flint after Rupert was unable to get one started. Stephenie and Tom, and Cirie and Amanda, manage to rebuild their alliances from their respective seasons. That night, Sugar manages to annoy Colby by following him around and chatting him up, in the process waking up the whole tribe. The next day, J.T. catches and kills the rooster they had previously caught, and the tribe enjoys a nice breakfast.

At the Immunity Challenge, which was originally done in "Survivor: Cook Islands", the Heroes start off strong by taking an early lead, but quickly fall behind when they assemble the puzzle, and the Villains make a huge comeback and win the challenge. The Heroes are left with the task of deciding who to vote off first. It seems like Sugar is the clear choice due to annoying the tribe and breaking down after losing the challenge, but Cirie has some second thoughts and thinks about breaking up the alliance of Stephenie and Tom. She talks to Amanda and Candice about it. Tom also has some second thoughts of getting rid of Sugar and instead getting rid of Cirie, who has a reputation for being a brilliant strategist.

At Tribal Council, there is a lot of discussion about reasons to vote people out, and Jeff points out that there is a reason to vote out every single person. At the end of the night, the tribe goes with their original plan, and Sugar is the first person voted out of "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains". I really enjoyed watching watching Sugar her first season in Gabon, and have talked to her on her twitter a few times, she's a sweet girl. My friend Rachael made me a graphic of her that I use on a website I visit every day, she thought it was sweet. Peace out Sugar. Sorry to see you go so soon.

Next week there's a preview of Rob going down. My good friend Melissa and I hope he's gonna be okay. Usually, someone every season is pulled out of the game for medical reasons, that's at least been the case the last few years. We wonder who it will be this season, if it happens.

Okay. Like I promised, I am going to do a blog talking about all the shows I watch. Some of them you know about because of my commentaries. Others, you might not know about. But here you go.

There are shows of all different varieties which I watch. Some are scripted, some are reality. And I'll also include shows I watch over the summer.

American Idol is the show I've watched the longest. I started watching this show in 2003, and I thank my cousin Bonny for getting me hooked for life. I always end up rooting for the runner-up, except for seasons 4 and 6, where I rooted for the winner (Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks, respectively). The show discovers undiscovered singing talent and puts them through a competition every week. Last season didn't end in a victory for Adam Lambert, who had been my favorite since the end of the semi-finals round, but it was still a great season. Lots of unexpected turns.

Survivor is the show that changed reality television. I didn't start watching this until 2005 (this coming season, season 20, will be exactly 5 years since I started watching the show), but I've stuck with it pretty much through and through. I was happy with the way the last season ended up (my favorite got eliminated right before the final 3, but after he did, the person I wanted to win won). Next season is "Heroes vs. Villains" and it premieres this Thursday night. And as you know, I do commentary for the show on this blog, so be on the lookout for my thoughts.

The Amazing Race is a show I got into, fell out of touch with, and then got back into. I took 2 seasons off this past season, but I decided to get back into it this past season. It's very unique and a lot of fun to watch. This season ended up being good. Two of my favorite teams since the beginning made the finals, with one of them coming out victorious. The next season premieres next Sunday, Valentine's Day, and since I have no man to hold, that's what I'll be spending the holiday doing.

Grey's Anatomy is my kind of soap opera. I had heard a lot about this show before I started watching it, then decided to start watching it to see what all the hype was about. And I immediately fell in love. I own the first 2 seasons on DVD so I'm caught up, and I need to get the rest of the seasons. I fell out of touch with it seasons 4 and 5 (I did see a few episodes of season 4 tho), but now I'm back in it. It's a great show.

Private Practice, a spin-off of Grey's, is also really good. I wasn't too sure about this show when I heard about, but decided to give it a shot. And I ended up enjoying it. It's another one that I fell out of touch with, but decided to hop back into. It's a great show and I get wrapped up in the petty drama of it all.

Dancing With the Stars is a show I started watching about this time 2 years ago. My grandma got me into it, and now I've only missed one or two episodes per season at the most (I didn't miss any of last season tho). This show takes regular celebrities and shows how good their dancing skills are. This past season didn't end in a victory for singer Mya or model Joanna Krupa, two of the more talented dancers, and was also the first season I didn't vote for the eventual winner at all throughout the season, but it was still a crazy, great roller coaster ride of a season. And I thank my buddies at Idolforums.com (particularly Wallace and Denise) for helping me keep my composure and giving their thoughts.

I Survived a Japanese Game Show is a summer show. I first saw the preview for this show one day in the summer of 2008, and decided to check it out. I missed the first episode for some reason (I think I was working), but watched it online and was instantly hooked. When they renewed it for a second season, I KNEW I had to tune in. And I follow the blog of one of the contestants from this last season, Dan Barbour. If you care to read it, feel free. He has some good stuff to say. My friend Stephie liked him too and she declared the two of us (me and her) "Team Dan". So far there's no word yet on this show being renewed for a 3rd season, but I hope they do renew it because it's always one of the highlights of my summer.

16 and Pregnant is a relatively new show on MTV. My friend Lauren said she liked the show, so I decided to check it out. I've only missed 1-and-a-half episodes of the first season, but I loved it nontheless. And the new season premieres on February 16th, so a week from this coming Tuesday. I will be doing commentary for it on this blog.

Paris Hilton's My New BFF is a show that I will admit I decided to watch out of boredom. There wasn't anything else on TV that night so I decided to give it a try, and I fell in love. This past season was a good one. The eventual winner, Stephen Hampton, was one I liked from the time I started watching, and who I've talked to on Twitter and stickam before. He's SO nice, and he's called me baby and sexy and has told me I'm cute. And the lovely Paris Hilton herself tweeted me back once. She's actually a nice person despite what the tabloids say about her.

The Hills is another one of those shows that I had heard a lot about, but never considered watching until this year. I get wrapped up in the petty drama of it all. I follow several of the cast members on twitter, and two of the more well-known ones, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, follow me (they follow their fans). Heidi's tweeted me back once, Spencer's tweeted me 4 times and also gave me a shoutout on Ustream. And two of the tweets and the Ustream shoutout were him telling me that he loves me. When I told my friend Wallace that he said "wow, that's actually nice of Spencer. I didn't know he had that side to him".

Teen Mom, the spin-off of 16 and Pregnant, is also a good show. The show features 4 of the original girls from 16 and Pregnant as they navigate their first year of motherhood. One of the girls, Farrah Abraham, is from my home state, so I sort of have a connection there.

Saturday Night Live is another show that I never watched until now, but have heard a lot about. You know I do commentary on it on this blog. I started watching this show in October 2009, and I love it. I grew up watching variety shows like "All That" and "The Amanda Show", so I just naturally love SNL as well.

Tonight was the premiere of a new TV show on CBS called "Undercover Boss". I'm going to blog about that tonight.

But before I do, I must extend my congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for winning the Super Bowl. The first time in the history of the franchise that they have won a Super Bowl. So that was a big event.

Okay, now on to Undercover Boss. This show takes the CEO of a big company, and they go undercover to see what it's like to work at the company they are the CEO of.

Tonight's episode featured Larry O'Doyle, the president and COO of Waste Management, which is a trash and recycling company. He went undercover and worked all aspects of the job, while figuring out what improvements to make.

I thought it was a very good idea for a TV show, it's something that everyone can relate to. I can't wait to see what other kinds of jobs that will be featured. Next week is the CEO of Hooters, so that should be pretty fun. I'll keep you updated on anything else that happens.

And, inspired by a message board post I made, I think I'm going to blog about all the TV shows I watch. I'm gonna post this, then post another entry shortly after that, talking about all the shows I watch.

Pressure, pushing down on me, pressing down on you, no man ask for, under pressure that burns a building down, splits a family in two

Today is Saturday, which means Saturday Night Live is on. Tonight's host is Ashton Kutcher, and the musical guest is Them Crooked Vultures.

I will do the commentary as the skits go on. I will write my reviews after the skits air. This will include Ashton's monologue and the cold open.

Cold Open: talking about the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. I never really followed it. Kristen Wiig always does well in these cold opens.

Monologue: Very very funny. I almost spit out my dinner laughing (yes, I ate dinner at 10:30 pm. I needed something do to besides blog). Ashton held his composure together until the end and it was hilarious to see him try. But it was VERY unexpected to see him rip his pants off at the end.

Last Will and Testament: Ashton, Jason Sudeikis, and Jenny Slate had some good lines in this. It was kind of nasty because of all the STDs listed.

The View: I like Kristen Wiig as Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Nasim Pedrad as Barbara Walters. Ashton was good as Mel Gibson too.

The emperor that keeps eating grapes: Ashton's high-pitched voice was annoying, but Andy Samberg, who I love dearly, did very well in this.

Weekend Update: Seth Meyers is one of my heroes. He makes me laugh and smile, and he's not too rough on the eyes. I loved seeing my Andy turn up as "Liam, the teenager who just woke up." Bill Hader had some good lines, altho a lot of them made me roll my eyes. His laugh was annoying too. "Bon to the jour", as stated by Kenan Thompson, may be my new catchphrase. Nice to see Seth gettin' down too. Fred Armisen and Kristen Wiig's characters Garth and Kat made me irritated the first time the first time I saw them, and didn't impress me the second time either. I just shook my head in disbelief.

What Is Burn Notice?: Having not being familiar with this show, I didn't really understand it. Ashton and Will Forte both had some nice moments.

Access Hollywood: I love Nasim Pedrad with all my heart, but she does some voices that irritate me. Ashton's Billy Bush was funny and spastic, like he is. And it was funny seeing some popular movies that actually weren't nominated for Best Picture get nominated.

An Even-Tempered Apology from Rahm Emanuel: Andy is amazing and hysterical. I love him. That's all I will say.

Cadena-Norton Wedding: this sketch was awesome. Not the typical wedding band. Nice to see Them Crooked Vultures' drummer Dave Grohl appear in this one.

SNL will not have any more live shows until February 27th due to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. As of now, I am not sure if they will be showing reruns during that time, but I will keep you posted as I find things out. Nice to see Ashton Kutcher ringing in his 32nd birthday by hosting SNL, he did a fabulous job. He was representing my home state of Iowa (he grew up here), and he was awesome. Happy birthday Ashton!

Today I got a call on my cell phone from a girl named Lizzie, who is in charge of a Bible study at my college. I was unable to go to the informational meeting last week because I had forgotten my cell phone at home and I didn't want to stay out late without a phone and make my parents worried, but I think I'm going to go to the Bible study at my school.

I was very religious my senior year of high school, then as the summer went on I sort of drifted away from it because I was always busy with either work or something else. And then after I left that job and got wrapped up in school, I ended up either being too tired or too busy to be involved in my church.

And now, I'm still busy and stuff so I can't actually go to church, but I do want to be more in touch with my religion, so when I got the call about the Bible study at my school, I decided to be involved with religion that way. I have to call Lizzie to let her know that I want to be involved, but first I want my cell phone to charge up a bit. And it actually works out for me because I have a class tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 pm and the Bible study is at 1:00 pm. So it should be fun. I will keep y'all updated on how it's going and if I make any new friends.

Tonight was the reunion special of the show "Teen Mom" on MTV. The series is a spin-off of "16 and Pregnant" and continues the stories of 4 of the original girls from that show as they navigate their first year of motherhood. Since the new season of 16 and Pregnant doesn't start for a couple more weeks, I figured I'd write about the reunion.

There are 4 girls on the show, each with a different story to tell.

First we have Maci Bookout. She is 17 years old and lives in Chattanooga, TN. She has a son named Bentley. Her relationship with her boyfriend Ryan has been a spot of turmoil throughout the whole season. They broke up and got back together many times, and broke up for good in the season finale. In the reunion special, they talk about how difficult it was for them to understand their feelings. I hope they can work things out, and host Dr. Drew Pinsky suggested maybe talking to a professional counselor to help work things out.

Featured next was Amber Portwood, a 19-year-old girl from Anderson, IN. She is the mother of a girl name Leah. Her relationship with her ex-fiance, Gary, was also a spot of turmoil throughout the season, but as of the reunion, they are back together and trying to work things out. Amber moved into her own apartment and got a job as a beauty salon receptionist, and is trying to earn her GED. Amber confessed at the reunion that she might be pregnant again, despite using contraceptions. She said she felt the same way she got pregnant the first time at the moment. We'll see how things turn out.

Next was one of my favorite girls of the season, Catelynn Lowell. She and her fiance Tyler are the birth parents of a girl named Carolyn (Carly for short), whom they gave up for adoption. Their story this season talked about the stress they felt with their families, who were, at the time of filming, not over their decision to give Carly up for adoption, Catelynn attended a retreat in which birth moms helped her cope with her decision, and in the season finale, Catelynn and her mom made peace with each other and Tyler proposed to her. They're not getting married for awhile, but I'm glad they know what's the best for them. They have a website that they update semi-regularly. Feel free to check it out if you want.

Finally was Farrah Abraham, an 18-year-old teen mom from my neck of the woods. She is from Council Bluffs, Iowa, which is about 4 hours away from where I live. She is the single mom of a daughter named Sophia. The beginning of the season had her trying to find someone to date while being a mom, and being unsuccessful. Also, the season showed the ups and downs of her relationship with her mother Debra. At the reunion, they seemed to have made peace. However, I recently found an article that said that Debra was arrested for assaulting her. They will determine if she will stand trial sometime this month. We will see how things turn out.

Next week is "Unseen Moments", where host Drew Pinsky will show all the clips of the season the viewers didn't see, and then the following week is the season premiere of "16 and Pregnant", which I will recap on this blog. Also next week is the season premiere of "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains", so I'll recap that as well. This coming Saturday is a new episode of Saturday Night Live, with host Ashton Kutcher and musical guest Them Crooked Vultures.

I will do my best to write in here again before Saturday, if I find something blog-worthy to write about, haha.

Butterflies all havin' fun, you know what I mean, sleep in peace when the day is done, that's what I mean

Tonight was Saturday night, which means Saturday Night Live was on. This episode was actually pretty good. Tonight's host was Jon Hamm of "Mad Men" fame. I don't watch that show, the most I hear about that show is Stephen Fishbach always complaining on Twitter about how much he hates that show. Tonight's musical guest was Michael Buble. I have liked Michael Buble since I was 16 years old, right about the time I finished up my sophomore year of high school. Lately I've grown to love him even more, and wanna show y'all some funny videos of him when I'm done.

Like always, the sketches will appear in chronological order as best as I can remember them, and will include the cold open and Jon's monologue.

Cold Open: a nice way to handle Obama's State of the Union address, but the one thing I will never understand is why all the SNL cold opens are politically themed.

Monologue: this was funny. As I said, I wasn't familiar with Jon Hamm before I watched this, and I enjoyed seeing all his "claims to fame" before Mad Men.

The 1920's party: Kristen Wiig is funny, but her characters seem a bit too similar to each other. She did have some good lines and I loved the alley cats that appeared at the end. But then again I am a cat person.

Digital Short: this was a bit strange, but Andy Samberg is always freaking hilarious. And he's gorgeous too. The ending was kind of gross, but still good.

Jon Hamm appearing in daydreams during a congress meeting: strange, but mildly entertaining.

Weekend Update: Seth Meyers is amazing, and not too rough on the eyes either. I enjoyed seeing Bobby Moynihan as Snooki from "Jersey Shore", altho I think he should lay off the self-tanner JUST a smidge. Because he looked very orange. Nasim Pedrad had some nice moments too, but some of the voices she does are really irritating.

Hamm and Buble: my favorite sketch of the night. Michael Buble proved that not only is he a very talented singer, but he's also a whole bunch of awesome. He knows how to work a room and to make fun of himself.

Game Time With Randy and Greg: I remember seeing this on Joseph Gordon-Levitt's episode, where Bill Hader played an alien that co-hosts a sports show with Kenan Thompson, and Kenan keeps saying he's not alien. This edition featured Greg duplicating into more Gregs. Nice job once again.

The crazy, forgetful court reporter: Fred Armisen had some good lines in this, but it got weary after awhile.

The founders of Barnes and Noble: this one was hilarious. So random too! Nice job to Jon and Bill Hader.

Tonight's episode was good, and Michael Buble did a good job performing on it too. I have some awesome videos of him I want to share, since I've really grown to love him these past few days.

Tonight was the premiere of a new reality show on CBS. This show, created and executive produced by Jeff Probst, best known as the host of "Survivor", is called "Live For the Moment" and takes people that have a terminal illness on the adventure of a lifetime.

Tonight's episode featured Roger Childs, a 41-year-old man from Colorado that has Lou Gerihg's Disease with a passion for space, astronomy, flying and skiing. He missed out on completing getting his pilot's license. The episode was heartbreaking, but very uplifting as Roger had the attitude of what the show is about, and that is living each day as if it were your last. And now I know that my tear ducts are working properly as I cried a little bit towards the end, when Roger's father read a letter to him from his sister. I started crying, because it was beautiful. I am a huge crier. I cry at sad movies, sad TV shows and sometimes over really stupid things I shouldn't cry over. But that's not the point. I'm a sucker for a good tearjerker every once in awhile, and this show would be a good example of that.

I really hope I can see more of this show. It seems like a wonderful idea.

Like I mentioned last night, I decided to give myself a reason to update this blog regularly again on the off-days of Survivor and when I don't have anything worthy to blog about: recap "Saturday Night Live", and also, I decided to recap the upcoming season of "16 and Pregnant" as well. For now, I will recap last Saturday's episode of SNL.

Last Saturday's episode of SNL was a rebroadcast of an episode that originally aired on December 5th, 2009. Blake Lively of "Gossip Girl" fame was the host, and Rihanna was the musical guest. I have never watched Gossip Girl, but I sort of want to buy it on DVD. My best friend Jenny loves that show and she and I always talk about it.

I'll do a rundown of the skits in chronological order. This will include Blake's opening monologue and the cold open.

Cold Open: this was a parody of the incident in Pennsylvania where two ordinary people crashed an Obama event. It was cute, but I never get why the cold opens are usually centered around politics.

Opening Monologue: I've always been a Muppet girl my whole life, and to see some of the cast members playing them alongside Blake was cute. It was really funny and Jason Sudelkis had some good lines.

Carter & Son's BBQ: This skit was also show in the episode where Taylor Swift hosted and performed, and it wasn't that appealing the first time. And it wasn't any more appealing the second time either.

Ladies' Bowling: the sports commentators that make jokes about the sponsors for a particular tournament are pretty good. Altho the sponsors make products that are a bit inappropriate for my taste. But whatever.

Tiger Woods incidents on The Situation Room: Kenan Thompson did a nice job as Tiger Woods, and Blake Lively pretty effective as his wife Elin. I don't know how to spell or pronounce her last name, so I'll just leave it off. And the joke was that it was female on male domestic violence, where normally it's the opposite. Pretty good skit.

SNL Digital Short: I'm gonna say this right now: I have a crush on Andy Samberg and go nuts whenever he comes on screen. Him and Rihanna worked well together for this short, altho I'm not a fan of Andy as a redhead.

Gossip Girl: Staten Island: Of course, they had to do a skit making fun of Gossip Girl, since that is Blake's claim to fame. This was one of my favorite skits of the night and I loved the faux-Italian accents. Maybe if I watch the skit a little more I can imitate them (like I did when I re-watched Nasim Pedrad's imitation of Kim Kardashian on an earlier episode).

Underground Festival: An advertisement for an underground death metal festival. It was funny the way they delivered it, but it's just not the type of music I listen to.

Weekend Update: One of my favorite parts of SNL is Weekend Update, partly because I also have a crush on Seth Meyers, and partly because he has really good delivery. On the original broadcast of this episode, there was a bit making fun of Brittany Murphy, who died two weeks later. After her death, NBC took down the clip from Hulu and NBC.com, and on this rebroadcast, the segment was removed. I wondered if they were going to take it out because it would be in poor taste to make fun of someone who recently died.

Virginiaca: Blake did another great faux-Italian accent in this sketch, another one of my favorites of the evening. Kenan was also very funny.

Late Night With Chris Hansen: a good concept that should be brought back. Andy Samberg as Keanu Reeves and Blake as Cher were both very good.

Potato Chip: not funny at all, and the end was just so nasty that I had to look away from my screen this time. That's all I'll say.

So that's a recap of SNL for this week. This coming Saturday, Jon Hamm is the host, and Michael Buble is the musical guest. Will do my best to recap it.

Tonight I watched a movie on Lifetime. I rarely watch Lifetime, but I saw an ad for this movie, and it made me fascinated, so I decided to watch it.

This movie, "The Pregnancy Pact", was inspired by a true story. Back in June 2008, the town of Gloucester, MA became known based on the fact that 18 girls in the high school had become pregnant. The principal stated to Time magazine that some of the girls had made a pact to become pregnant and raise the kids together.

The movie was good, and really gave awareness to the consequences of being pregnant at a young age. My home state, I think, has a high rate of girls who get pregnant at a young age: I have a lot of friends who did, my friend's sister did, and one girl from my home state was featured on the MTV series "16 and Pregnant" and the spin-off of that show, "Teen Mom".

I, personally, have never been pregnant (I'm still a virgin), and plan on waiting until I'm married to have kids. If I decide to have sex before I am married (like if I'm with someone for awhile, then maybe we'll take that step), we will be safe. I like watching shows like "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom" because that's my kind of show to watch. It shows regular girls struggling with being pregnant and being teen moms. It's a good way to raise awareness of these types of issues.

If you would like to watch the shows I mentioned, the season finale of "Teen Mom" is this Tuesday night at 10 pm EST/9 pm CST on MTV, and the new season of "16 and Pregnant" premieres February 16th, 2010 at 10 pm EST/9 pm CST on MTV.

I also thought of something else to fill this blog with aside from my thoughts and Survivor commentary: "Saturday Night Live" commentary. This season has already started, but there are plenty of new ones coming up, and I'll recap any reruns that I haven't already done. I will start tomorrow with thoughts on a rebroadcast episode that aired last night. Then I will do the new episode this coming Saturday.

As I'm typing this, I'm talking to an amazing person: my close friend Jason. He is my lifeline, my pillar of strength and just an amazing person in general. I really like him a lot.

As you may or may not know, I did commentary for the last season of "Survivor", and because I had so much fun doing it, I am going to continue it for the upcoming season, which debuts on February 11th. This blog will serve as a pre-season highlight and what I think will go down.

I made a video awhile ago for the contestants that are going to be appearing on the show. The season is "Heroes vs. Villains", which features 20 contestants from previous seasons that are either known for their integrity (the heroes) or their deception (the villains). I haven't seen all of the contestants from this season on their first seasons: I have watched every season since "Survivor: Palau" except for "Survivor: China" (I didn't see that because I was stupid and forgetful, plus I had youth group on Thursdays that year), so some of them I'm not familiar with.

here is the video I made for the contestants. The contestants are listed in alphabetical order. Some of them I am not familiar with, and some of them I wasn't happy about seeing again. But there are plenty of people I like.

Also, there was a preview for the season shown at the 36th People's Choice Awards. I missed it (and got very irritated, but that's another story), but thanks to the wonderfulness of my close friend Chrissy, I managed to see it. Thank you Chrissy for restoring my sanity. Now, I will get some biases on contestants out of the way:

J.T. Thomas and Parvati Shallow are my favorite winners of all-time (along with Yul Kwon, who is not on this season). I have had digital cameras that I named after Candice Woodcock and Jessica "Sugar" Kiper (and my one named Sugar I still have). Stephenie LaGrossa is my all-time favorite runner-up (along with fellow Survivor commentator Stephen Fishbach, who I was sad didn't come back for this season *insert pouty face here*). I have seen Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano on "The Amazing Race" with his wife Amber Brkich Mariano, and I liked him there, plus I think he's really hot. I also really liked Cirie Fields, Danielle DiLorenzo and Amanda Kimmel on their respective seasons (Cirie was on "Survivor: Panama" and "Survivor: Micronesia", Danielle on "Survivor: Panama" and Amanda on "Survivor: China" and "Survivor: Micronesia", but I only saw her on Micronesia).

Hello my lovely blog readers!

I said back in September that I was going to do a blog a few days before New Years Eve listing my favorite things of 2009. It is the day after Christmas, so I have some good stuff to do. I am going to present my favorite things of 2009 for my blog-verse.

Lily's favorite movie of 2009:
I saw a lot of good movies this year, but the one that I think was the best was 500 Days of Summer. The movie, which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, was very well written, acted and it was just REALLY sweet. A close runner-up is The Twilight Saga: New Moon. I love Twilight books and movies, and this movie was SO good.

Lily's favorite SCRIPTED TV show of 2009:
I don't watch very many scripted TV shows (I love reality shows though), but the one that is definitely my favorite is Grey's Anatomy. I started watching this show mid-way through the 3rd season, kind of fell out of touch with it the 4th season but have gotten back into it. And I own the first 2 seasons on DVD and want to get the rest. It's just so good, has likeable characters, and realistic situations.

Lily's favorite REALITY TV show of 2009:
Like I said, I watch a ton of reality shows, of all different varieties. But the one that I have stuck with the longest, which is therefore my favorite, is American Idol. I have watched this show since 2003 and have enjoyed every season. This past season did not end in a victory for Adam Lambert, my favorite since the semi-finals round, but it was still one of the best seasons in recent years. And next year, Ellen DeGeneres is the new judge, replacing Paula Abdul, so I can't wait to see what she has in store for us.

Lily's favorite NEW TV show of 2009 (scripted or reality):
I love watching new TV shows that debut, whether they are scripted or reality. The winner of this category is a reality show, and it is The Sing-Off. This show is an acapella singing group competition, where 8 of the best acapella singing groups from around the country (and one outside the country) compete for a Sony recording contract and $100,000. Like American Idol, this show did not end in a victory for my favorite group, the Beelzebubs, but it was still really fun to watch. I hope they bring this back next year.

Lily's favorite song of 2009:
I love music. Lots of it. I will listen to anything that is not classical, techno or death metal. I liked a lot of different songs this year, but the one that was my absolute favorite is "Raining Sunshine" by Miranda Cosgrove. This song was one of the main songs in the movie "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs". I first heard this song on Nickelodeon, the network that made Miranda a star, and I just thought it had this vibe to make you feel good. This song has gotten me through hard situations (bad days, the time my brother had to go to the ER, and just really upsetting nights), and it always makes me feel so much better. And I indirectly told Miranda that one night her music made me stop crying (I had tweeted someone else and mentioned her by her Twitter name in the tweet), and she tweeted me saying that she was glad that she could help me. A very close runner up is a song by one of Miranda's co-stars, "So Close" by Jennette McCurdy. This song was basically the story of my life this year. It's a song that every girl can relate to.

Lily's favorite album of 2009:
I have a lot of albums that I got this year. I haven't listened to all of them in full, but the best one I DID hear in full I am going to call a tie between Kris Allen by Kris Allen and Just Like You by Allison Iraheta. Both of these individuals were finalists on American Idol this year. Kris's album has the vibe to make you feel good, with songs like "Live Like We're Dying", "Written All Over My Face", "The Truth" and "Red Guitar", while Allison's makes you want to get up and jam out, with songs like "Friday I'll Be Over U", "Robot Love", "D Is For Dangerous", "Don't Waste the Pretty" and "Holiday".

Lily's favorite new friend of 2009:
I made a lot of new friends this year, but the best ones were all awesome in different ways. I'm gonna call this a tie between Wallace, Denise, Jason, Chrissy, Clarissa and Wendy. I met all of these individuals on idolforums.com, and now keep in touch with them either through that website, Twitter or AOL Instant Messanger. It's just great to talk to these individuals.

Lily's favorite group of friends of 2009:
There is really no contest for this award, and it goes to Theresa, Kathleen, Melanie, Sarah, Mackenzy and Brianna, also known as the Single Ladies. We met on archuletafans.com and we just basically have girl talk every day in our one specific topic thread on that website. We help each other through the good times and the bad, talk about our boy crushes and celeb crushes, and are just always there for each other. True blue friends to the end!

Lily's favorite celebrity that she became close to because of Twitter of 2009:
This is a relatively new award, because Twitter is the hottest thing around. My friends say I have Twitter powers because I get all sorts of celebrities to Tweet me. There are a few I talk to pretty regularly, but the 3 I talk to the most are Alex Wagner-Trugman, Stephen Fishbach and Brett Clouser. All 3 of these guys are famous for being on reality shows (Alex on American Idol and Stephen and Brett on Survivor, but different seasons). They're all SO nice and sweet and I always enjoy talking about various things with them. An honorable mention goes to Ashley Trainer. She is also from "Survivor" and we love talking about our favorite TV shows together (we like a lot of the same ones).

Lily's favorite best friend of 2009:
This award goes to Jenny. She and I met a little over a year ago on archuletafans.com and now we talk all the time on either Twitter or AOL Instant Messanger about everything. She's like my honorary sister because we share a lot of the same interests and talk about everything. I love her. Everyone needs a Jenny in their life to talk to.

The last known survivor stalks his prey in the night, and he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger.

Since tonight was the final episode of the "Survivor" season, my blog title seems fitting for what I'm about to post. My final commentary for the season.

There are 5 members left in the Aiga tribe. Four of them are members of the former Foa Foa, and the last remaining Galu member is Brett. Russell wants to get rid of him because he's a threat for both jury votes and physicality.

The second-to-last Immunity Challenge is won by Brett for the 3rd consecutive time, forcing the Foa Foa four to vote out one of their own. Russell wants to keep Natalie around because he thinks she is easy to beat, so he tells Mick to vote Jaison and vice versa, leaving the vote up to Natalie, Russell and Brett. At Tribal Council, Jaison is sent home by a vote of 4-1. I liked Jaison. He was on the verge of quitting a few times, but he stuck it out and I applaud him for that. Peace out Jaison, and congrats on never being a quitter.

Before the castaways head to their final Immunity Challenge, they pay tribute to their fallen soldiers as traditionally done in the final episode. I did that as well tonight, through a video which I will post when I am done. The final Immunity Challenge was a nailbiter. Natalie and Mick went out early, leaving only Brett and Russell. After awhile, Brett is out of the challenge, meaning Russell wins Immunity for the first time. The Foa Foa 3 then go with their original plan to vote out the final Galu member, but Russell has some second thoughts because Brett is deserving of the million dollar prize, so he talks to Brett about it. At Tribal Council, Russell goes against his word and Brett is sent home by a vote of 3-1. I have a little story that I'm gonna tell about Brett, and to do so, I am going to start a new paragraph.

I first decided to keep my eye on Brett at the beginning of the season because he was good-looking, and he seemed like a cool guy based on his pre-show videos. I found him on Twitter and let him know that I was going to keep my eye on him this season. He tweeted me back saying "Just bring some grace when you watch me do silly, stupid things. lol." I didn't see it at first because at the time my computer charger was dead and so I couldn't get on the internet anywhere besides school, so I just happened to check my Twitter one day at school and there his Tweet was in my replies. I added something on Twitter where his updates are sent to my cell phone. So whenever he tweets something to me, someone that I follow, or the whole world, it will show up on my phone. He is the founder of this clothing company that is advocating for healthy body image. I have struggled with that for a long time, so some of his Tweets were really inspiring and uplifiting for me. And then the following Monday I was having a bad day, so I was on the bus home, my crying eyes hidden behind sunglasses, and I sent him a tweet text (or as I say, twext) saying I could really use one of his inspirational Tweets because I was having a really bad day. That Thursday I felt my phone buzz and there was a tweet to me from him saying that he hoped my week had turned out well. I was really surprised and touched that he remembered something. Since then we have kept in close contact on Twitter talking about everything. He is SO sweet and caring and inspiring and always there to make me smile when I need to. So Brett, peace out, you're amazing, and I hope to keep talking to you on Twitter even though this season is over.

Okay, now back to the game. Mick, Natalie and Russell are the final 3, so they get a chance to plead their case for a million dollars to the jury. 9 people that they had a hand in voting out now hold their fate. The final Tribal Council was really fun. Brett gets the award for most awesome and funny question. And no I'm not biased when I say that, it was really awesome and funny. You gotta admit that. At the live reunion show in Los Angeles, it is revealed that Natalie is the Sole Survivor by a vote of 7-2-0 with Mick recieving no votes. I liked Natalie from the beginning of the season til now. She was sort of underestimated. It was her and Jaison's move to vote Erik off that started the demise of Galu, and then she made strong alliances with Russell, Mick, and Brett to stay in the game, and she played it to the end and is now a million dollars richer. Congratulations to Natalie and the remaining castaways. This has been one crazy season of Survivor.

The next season, "Survivor: Heroes vs Villains" begins on February 11th, 2010. I will recap that season and continue to share random thoughts. I hope you continue to read this!

Only two episodes left for this season of "Survivor". One of them was tonight, the finale is this Sunday. Since one episode was tonight, I have some recapping to do.

There are now 6 finalists left, and only two of them are made up of the former Galu. Only one has been a "true" Galu, since Shambo aligned with the Foa Foa four. Brett points out that he's the last true Galu member in a confessional.

Natalie forms an alliance with Brett, who states that the two of them come from similar backgrounds, so that's grounds for a good alliance. Russell sees Brett as a threat to win over the jury since they are made up of members of the former Galu.

The reward challenge is won by the team of Jaison, Shambo and Russell, and while on their reward, they discuss Natalie, Mick and Brett possibly being in an alliance that they'd have to split apart. Russell would like to vote out Brett, but in case he won immunity, they would have to vote for Mick.

Back at the Aiga camp, Mick, Brett and Natalie make the best of their day and spend some time together. Natalie, who has been aligned with Russell since the beginning, states that it is hard to balance her head and her heart.

The Immunity Challenge is won by Brett for the second time in a row, collapsing Russell's plan to vote him out. Jaison states that they have to vote out Shambo since she's the only remaining member of the former Galu that is vulnerable. Russell and Jaison talk about voting out Shambo, and Shambo and Russell talk about voting out Mick. Russell is undecided on who he is going to vote for.

At Tribal Council, Russell follows the majority to vote out Shambo 5-1, therefore splitting the Foa Foa alliance back down to the 4 original members. As for Shambo being voted out, all I can say is peace out and good riddance.

This Sunday, December 20th, is the final episode of "Survivor: Samoa". I will try to post a blog before that time because I have a video I made that I want to share. And then after the finale I will post another one that I made but have not uploaded to youtube yet. I hope that you will enjoy them.

Two days in a row, school has been cancelled. And one of those days was Thursday. And Thursday means Survivor, and Survivor means I blog about the episode.

After John's vote-out, Shambo is stunned. Russell lies to her about why he voted for him, and she believes him and doesn't get mad.

At the challenge, Jeff announces that the tribe will be playing for immunity. Jaison wins the challenge for the second consecutive time, and is safe from the Tribal Council vote.

At camp, Shambo is absolutely sure that she wants Dave out. Monica talks with Russell about the possibility of voting for Shambo, and he flirts with the idea a little. He talks to Dave about voting her out.

At the first Tribal Council of the night, Dave is voted out 7-1. I never really liked Dave. He just seemed sort of standoffish and stupid. So peace out Dave. For someone with an IQ as high as yours, you made some kind of dumb moves. And I also must give a little shoutout to Laura Morett for telling Brett Clouser to "stay strong". I just thought that was sweet.

The next day, Russell decides that the biggest threat left in the game is Brett, which left me sort of stunned. I understand where he's coming from, but I don't think he'll be gone quite yet.

The second Immunity Challenge of the night was basically a neck-and-neck competition between Brett and Mick, with Brett emerging victorious. When that happened I was like "yeah baby!" even tho my mom was behind me. I told her that I have liked him since the beginning of the season, and she didn't say anything back. And with Brett's win, Russell's plan to vote him out fell flat.

Monica tries to scramble to get people to vote against Russell, and she confesses to Russell that she knows what he does for a living and knows that he doesn't need the prize money. Russell tries to figure out who told her and then learns that Jaison had told her. He talks to him about it, and Jaison feels a little worried that there now may be a target on his back.

At Tribal Council, Russell openly wears the Hidden Immunity Idol, and Monica's scrambling for votes is discussed. After the vote, it is revealed that Monica's scrambling proved ineffective as she is voted out 5-2. Monica impressed me. I thought that she would be voted out really early in the game for being weak physically, but she managed to make it to the final 7. So I gotta give it to her for making it out that long. Peace out Monica. Stay beautiful.

There's my recap for the week. I'm gonna try to get warmed up (it was in the teens today, temperature wise, and I had to shovel the end of the driveway, which was very hard). I'll try to post some more later this week.

So, after 2 weeks of craziness, including Thanksgiving, my birthday, and getting another new charger for my laptop, it's finally Thursday, with a non-recap episode of Survivor (Thanksgiving Day's episode was the recap, which I watched, but felt no need to blog about).

After the previous Tribal Council, Shambo is very pleased with the vote-out of Laura. They had been rivals since the beginning. Personally, I like Laura. I've talked to her on Twitter before, she's read this blog, and she's very nice and enjoyed reading this blog.

Instead of a Reward Challenge, it's the annual Survivor Auction. I always like watching these episodes. It's always interesting. For one of the items up for bid, it's a mystery item that will give the winning bidder an advantage in the Immunity Challenge. Jaison spends all his money on the item and wins.

At camp, Shambo is upset by the fact that the chickens they own had to be cooked up. That night, she has a dream that the tribe voted Dave out of the game. Score one for her remembering her dreams, I rarely remember mine. I can remember bits and pieces of mine, but never the whole dream.

The Immunity Challenge is won by Jaison, who used his advantage to help him win. Shambo talks with Russell about voting for Dave, and then Russell talks to John. He realizes that John is a threat in the game, so he turns to Dave and Mick about voting for John. The two of them relay to the rest of the tribe except John and Shambo.

At Tribal Council, another shocked castaway is sent home when John is voted out 7-1-1. I was always sort of neutral on John, but he eventually rubbed me the wrong way. Changing his vote in the last Tribal Council didn't help him at all. It eventually sort of screwed him over. Peace out John.

Shambo was the sole member of the tribe that didn't vote against John, so will she stay loyal to the former Foa Foa? Will Russell try to stay loyal to her when he didn't this time? Tune in next week to find out!

So there's my recap for this week. I may write an entry tomorrow about what I did for Thanksgiving/my 20th birthday, but we'll see.

So, it's Thursday night, I have my coffee, just finished off some chocolate ice cream, and now I'm gonna recap Survivor.

I didn't remember much about the beginning of the episode because I was talking to my mom about something. But everyone is still stunned about the move that Russell pulled at the last Tribal Council. That was a very good move.

At the Reward Challenge, Jeff announces that the winning tribe will get a Sprint Palm Prix to take pictures on the reward. The Reward Challenge is won by the purple team of Natalie, Russell, Brett, Dave and Laura. Natalie did a very good job in the challenge despite nearly falling out of the cradle that held her in.

While on their reward Russell looks at the phone and sees a clue for the newly hidden immunity idol, and finds the location where it is. When the castaways returned to their camp, they scrambled to find the idol. Dave tags along with Russell, and then Russell throws him off course and finds the idol. Russell really knows how to find idols.

The Immunity Challenge is done in 2 stages. Mick, Jaison, Monica and Brett (who impressed me in this challenge by knocking out 2 tiles with one shot) move on to the final round, which is won by Mick.

At camp before Tribal Council, Shambo thinks that this is the perfect opportunity to vote out her biggest rival, Laura. Laura talks with some of the former Galu members about voting out a Foa Foa member, and she decides to vote out Natalie, knowing that she is the least likely to have the immunity idol. And John realizes there is the opportunity for a tie, which potentially worries him. If after a re-vote, there is still a tie, the two tied castaways would stay in the game and everyone else draws rocks, and the one person with the oddly colored rock gets voted out.

At Tribal Council, they talk about potentially having a tie and how the tribes are aligned. The vote comes down to a 5-5 tie between Natalie and Laura. Jeff explains how the re-vote works. Laura and Natalie don't vote, everyone else votes for Laura or Natalie. After the re-vote, it is revealed that Laura is the 9th person voted out and the 3rd member of the jury. I have actually gotten the opportunity to talk to Laura a couple of times on Twitter, and she has read this blog. She really enjoyed reading this blog and is very nice. I hope she enjoys reading this one. Peace out Laura, you will be missed.

My life will never be the same, cause boy, you came and changed the way I walk, the way I talk, I cannot explain

So, tonight, it's Thursday night. That means it's time for Lily to recap this week's episode of Survivor.

The majority of the Aiga tribe except for Shambo voted out Erik, so things are a little stirred. Laura thinks that Russell made a dumb move by playing the Hidden Immunity Idol when no votes were cast against him. I actually kind of agree with her, but still, you never know.

At the Reward Challenge, the tribe is split into two teams of five, with Natalie choosing a side. The purple tribe of Dave, John, Monica, Kelly and Shambo prevail over the yellow team of Russell, Mick, Brett, Jaison and Laura. They win a trip to a rock slide and a picnic. While on their reward, Monica discovers a note that indicates that the immunity idol has been re-hidden at camp. They agree to share the info with the former Galu tribe, but not to tell any of the members of the former Foa Foa.

Back at camp, Russell is determined to find the immunity idol, without any clues or knowledge of there being an idol. And sure enough, he finds it again. I gotta give it to Russell: as much as I dislike him, he IS playing a very good game. He shows the idol to Shambo, who conspires with him to vote out Laura.

The Immunity challenge is won by Laura for the second consecutive time, which once again ruins Shambo's plans to vote her out. Russell talks to the former Foa Foa members about voting for Kelly, seeing her as one of the strongest players in the game. Dave talks to the former Galu about voting out Russell for being a strategic threat.

I didn't hear much of the Tribal Council discussion because I was arguing with my brother (who wasn't being very nice to me). But the vote proceeds. Before the vote, Jeff announces that if anyone has the hidden immunity idol, and they wanted to play it, to do so now. Russell announces that "he ain't done playing yet", and plays the idol again. This time, it works. The seven votes cast against Russell by the former Galu didn't count, leaving only the votes cast by the four Foa Foa members for Kelly to count, and she is blindsided by a vote of 4-0. I didn't have much of an impression on Kelly. She seemed cool. Kinda laid low, but sometimes that works. So peace out Kelly. Looking forward to seeing what you have to say on the jury. Jeff announces that the idol will be re-hidden again. And judging by the preview for next week, the former Galu will do anything to see that Russell doesn't get it this time around. We'll see.

So there's my recap. Comment or whatever. I'll see what else I'll have to blog about during the week. My 20th birthday is coming up, so I'll definitely do a recount of the events of my 19th year too.

Hello my lovely blog readers!

As you know, I'm a reality show lover. I watch The Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars, Survivor, The Hills, and American Idol. I do Survivor commentary right here on this blog. I give my thoughts on music (and I always quote a song in my title).

Tonight, we're gonna do something a little different. I'm going to show you two different dances: the same style of dance, to the same song, but done in VERY different ways.

We will go in order of their season. First, we have Season 5 competitor Sabrina Bryan:

As you can see, she got a perfect score of 30 out of 30 points.

Next, we have season 9 competitor Donny Osmond:

You don't see it in the video, but he got 24 points out of a possible 30, the lowest score of that round.

I personally prefer Sabrina's dance. The technique was flawless, she danced beautifully and it was just amazing. Donny's was a little too over-the-top. And I was kind of upset that they used that song because Sabrina did it so well and he didn't do so well. Even Sabrina herself said that she wasn't happy they used that song.

Speaking of Sabrina, she returns to the ballroom tonight to perform in the Design-a-Dance selected by viewers. Another Paso Doble, to the song "Eye of the Tiger". Her professional partner will be revealed tonight, but I just have a funny feeling that it is Mark Ballas, because he was her original partner on the show.

Now, before I go watch the show, I want to share one more fabulous dance from last night, my favorite one of the night:

Joanna Krupa's Futuristic Paso Doble. I've re-watched this many times today alone. Her partner Derek Hough is a genius when it comes to choreography. And he's a good teacher, a lot of fun, and gorgeous as heck too (even in futuristic makeup).

Another Thursday, another pretty much uneventful day, another episode of Survivor for me to recap.

After Liz's departure, Foa Foa is outnumbered 4 to Galu's 8. They try to stick together because they anticipate a merge coming.

When the tribes recieve Tree Mail, they're not sure what to expect. They arrive at their anticiapted challenge site and find a treasure chest with a feast and a note saying they have merged. The Foa Foa members try to align with the Galu members. Brett of Galu (who I have talked to on Twitter before, he's SUPER sweet) proposes the name Aiga for the tribe, which is Samoan for "extended family". I have some family that have Samoan heritige so they'd be proud to know that.

Russell aligns with Shambo and shows his hidden immunity idol to Laura, Monica and John. He conspires with Shambo to vote out Laura, who Shambo has had a long-going rivalry with.

At the Individual Immunity challenge, Jeff announces that 2 castaways will be winning immunity. John and Laura go on to win immunity, which spoils Shambo and Russell's plans. Erik then decides he wants to vote out Jaison for being useless around camp, but tells the tribe to vote for Monica. Natalie then talks to fellow ex-Foa Foa members Jaison and Mick about voting out Erik for excessive scheming. They agree and manage to talk to the others about voting for Erik.

At tribal council, Russell and Erik argue about the outnumbered tribe. Before the votes are read, Russell plays his hidden immunity idol, but for naught because nobody voted for him. Erik recieves every vote of the tribe except Shambo's. Erik seemed like a nice guy. He had the other immunity idol, and now I'm not sure what that will mean. Peace out Erik. You were a good guy.

And now that Russell is without the idol, what will happen to him? The teaser for next week shows that the tribe turns on him. We'll see how it turns out next week.

Like I promised last night, I had a very cute interview to show you guys.

This interview is of the most recent "Dancing With the Stars" castoffs, Melissa Joan Hart and Louie Vito, two of my favorites since week 1. Melissa Joan Hart is famous for starring as the title roles in "Clarissa Explains It All" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch". I grew up watching both of those TV shows, so she has become one of my favorite actresses. Louie Vito is a professional snowboarder. I don't follow snowboarding so I had no clue who he was until I watched the show. When I first saw him dance, I thought he was really cute. He was the ultimate underdog: not only had he never danced a step in his life, he had never even watched "Dancing With the Stars" before he went on. He was a pretty good dancer, and so was Melissa. They weren't the best and they knew they weren't the best, but they still worked hard.

After the two of them were eliminated from the most recent episode of "Dancing With the Stars", they appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live. My new friend Wallace told me about them being featured on it, so I decided to stay up and watch them. And I just thought the interview was SO cute. My crush on Louie Vito has grown significantly after that interview. And he replied to me on Twitter last night thanking me for voting for him every week. I thought that was just so nice and sweet.

Once upon a time I was falling in love, but now I'm only falling apart.

So, it's finally Thursday. And you know what that means! It's time for Lily's Survivor recap.

At Galu, Erik proposes having Shambo be the new leader after Russell S.'s departure, and the other guys agree to it. The next day the tribe does a vote and the majority chooses Shambo to be the leader. This decision does not sit well with Monica.

The Reward Challenge is closely contested, but ultimately Galu ends up victorious. New leader Shambo selects Laura to observe Foa Foa. She easily gets along with Natalie and Russell H., and that doesn't sit well with Liz. Russell forms a secret alliance with Laura to go to the end and Laura agrees.

At the Immunity Challenge, Foa Foa gains a lead, but during the puzzle assembly stage Jaison gets frustrated and then Galu once again ends up victorius, which means that once again, Foa Foa will be heading to Tribal Council.

At Foa Foa, Russell contemplates voting out Jaison due to his lack of willpower in the challenge. At Tribal, Jeff points out that their losing streak is one of the worst losing streaks in the history of Survivor. After tonight they'll be down 4 members to Galu's 8. After the vote, Liz is on the recieving end of a 4-1 blindside. I was very neutral on Liz. She seemed like an ok player and her vote against Jaison tonight, she said, was strictly strategical. So peace out Liz. I wish I could think of something witty to say to you.

Next week they merge. Will Foa Foa be able to hold themselves together? Could they pull a Jalapao from "Tocantins" and decimate the former Galu one-by-one? We'll see what happens next week.

And remind me tomorrow, I have a REALLY cute interview I'd like to show you. And then of course I'll blog on Halloween as well.

Another crazy day, another episode of Survivor for me to recap.

The rain in Samoa didn't let up the night of Foa Foa's tribal council. Similar to what was going on in my hometown today: it was raining and cold and windy. Liz is still worried about being voted out.

On day 15, the rain finally lets up and a rainbow appears. Galu is intrigued by it, and who wouldn't be!? I have always loved rainbows and seeing them.

Before the challenge begins, Jeff Probst announces that both tribes will be going to Tribal Council. The winning tribe will sit in on the losing tribe's TC and eat pizza.

The tribes were neck-and-neck in the challenge, with Foa Foa having a slight lead. During the puzzle assembly stage, Russell S., the leader of Galu, gets weaker and eventually blacks out. Jeff calls for the Medical Team and stops the challenge. Russell's blood pressure drops and Jeff declares the challenge done and that neither tribe wins the reward, but that there will still be Tribal Council.

With Russell, his blood pressure is now stable, but his heart rate drops dramatically and he blacks out again. Jeff tells him that there is no way he will be able to continue, and from his tone of voice, he seems heartbroken. Russell tries to protest but Jeff won't back down. Russell eventually stops.

At Tribal Council, all 13 castaways sit together and talk about the day's events. Everyone expresses remorse for Russell going and talks about the challenge. Russell H. and Mick think that Foa Foa had a moral win, but Erik thinks that Galu's spirit will live on even without their leader. Jeff then states that because this is the first time in the history of the show that a challenge was not completed, nobody would be voted out of either tribe.

It's always sad to see someone be evacuated because of medical reasons, but this one was especially hard. His heart rate dropped dramatically and it was scary to watch. Jeff Probst himself said it was the scariest thing that has happened in 19 seasons of Survivor. It was sad to see Russell go, but he knew it was the right thing to do and went out in good spirits despite the scare. I really liked Russell, even though he was a little annoying with his power trips.

And now that Galu is without a leader, Jeff gave them the assignment of picking a new one. I guess we'll find out who it is in the next episode.

So I decided to blog today about something other than Survivor. Even tho there's really not much in my life to blog about.

School has been going okay. I can't believe it's midterm already. Some bad things have happened too: fights, heartbreak, stress, and people I care about getting sick. But things have slowly come back to normal. And I got my laptop fixed, so I'll be able to blog a bit more.

Lately, I've been confiding a lot in my friend Jason. We met online through a mutual love for Kris Allen. We mostly discuss episodes of reality shows on CBS, like Survivor and The Amazing Race, and other things too.

Jason's one of those people I can share anything with and he'll listen and give advice. And he relates to my situations pretty well too. He always has good things to say. We always have deep discussions on various reality shows, such as American Idol, Survivor, and The Amazing Race. Sometimes we agree on things, sometimes we disagree.

And he's just a good listener. He listens to whatever venting I have to say, and he listens and gives advice. And he's just always there. I like that.

Ok, I think I'm starting to sound like a broken record here, so I'm gonna stop for the night.

So today was a little crazy. In between talking with my friends, getting feedback on an essay that I spent an hour working on (and it was surprisingly good feedback), and having a routine dermatology check-up, I barely had time to catch my breath.

But, of course, I managed to catch "Survivor" and my memory is still pretty fresh about what happened.

At Galu, Shambo continues to feel alienated from her tribe, especially since she was the only person who didn't vote against Yasmin. Shambo has always bugged me from the start, so I hope Galu pulls together and eliminates her.

At the Reward Challenge, each person from the tribe has to drink a smoothie filled with disgusting seafood. I personally already hate seafood, but some of the stuff that was blended was just repulsive. I am VERY surprised I didn't throw up during it (altho the only thing I'd throw up would be decaf coffee with chocolate-caramel creamer).. I guess my friend Cheryl put it best: I'm strong and beautiful. Even tho I look like a teenager straight out of the late 90's (I'm thinking Neve Campbell during the Party of Five era?).

Anyhow, Galu ends up victorious after Ashley of Foa Foa is unable to hold hers down. Jeff tells Russell S. to send one person from his tribe over to Foa Foa, he chooses Shambo for the second consecutive time, which doesn't sit well with Shambo.

When she arrives at Foa Foa, she shares the clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol with everyone and searches for it, not knowing that Russell H. has already found it. Liz talks to Russell about how she doesn't trust him, and of course, Russell being Russell, he targets her for elimination.

The Immunity Challenge is won by Galu after both Russell and Liz put up a good fight. The 6 of them huddle close together in their shelter to avoid the rain, so there isn't much strategizing going on.

At Tribal Council, everyone talks about how hard it is to play the game, and trust issues. In the end, Ashley is unanimously voted out 5-1. I liked Ashley. She was a ray of sunshine in my lonely world, never stopped smiling, even when she got voted out. Peace out Ashley, and never stop smiling.

She's the kind of girl that every man wants, she's got the look, she got it from her mom

This past Tuesday, singer Steve Means did a concert at my college. He does college tours. My college is a community college and occasionally we get some musical guests. Steve has been to my school before and he was requested to come back.
So Tuesday he was there, and before his set started, I looked at his merchandise table. I forgot to ask my mom to put money in my checking account so I couldn't buy anything. But I signed up for his email list and when I was done, he asked my name and I told him and we shook hands. And I told him that I wished I could buy a CD but my mom hadn't put any money in my checking account for me to withdraw. He said "aww, I know what that's like. Being a broke musician's kinda like being a broke college student." He told me to check out his music on iTunes and I said I definitely would. And then I gave him a hug and he hugged me back.

During his set he talked with us, joked with us, told him to check out his music on myspace, add him on facebook, and follow him on twitter. When he said he had a twitter (my main social networking site), I called up to him and asked him what it was, and so he told us. And then I called back "I will follow you as soon as I get my laptop fixed." And he said "you better follow me and you better get your laptop fixed." During his set I snuck away for a minute so I could go to the computer lab to follow him on Twitter.

When he was done with his set he stuck around for a bit to sign autographs and take pictures. I had a test to take so I had to do my stuff sooner rather than later, but I was willing. I keep a stationary set in my purse and I tore one of the sheets out for him to sign. Unfortunately I had forgotten my camera so I didn't think I'd get a picture with him, but he told Jon, the guy in charge of running the show "Hey, Jon, she forgot her camera at home, do you mind getting a picture of us on a school camera?" And I was spazzing on the inside. The picture turned out really cute. Then I had to go take my test, so I gave Steve another hug and ran off.

Lucky for me the test was pretty easy and as soon as students are done with their tests, they can leave. So I went back down and Steve was still there, so I chatted him up a bit, and told him my Twitter in case he ever wanted to tweet me back, and told him the meaning behind it. And we talked a little more before he had to leave, and when he did I told him to come back to my hometown. He said he would, that it was nice to meet me, and to take care. Then I gave Jon my email address so he could email me Steve and I's picture together and then went to catch the bus. Steve drove past me in his car and we waved at each other.

Tuesday was one of the best days of my life, thanks to Steve Means. He was just SO nice and fun and talented and I really hope he comes back here someday and that I can go be in the front row.

How am I supposed to breathe with no air?

It's 9:30 pm my time in my crazy little house, and since my computer charger died I have to borrow a laptop to do my Survivor recap. I'll do my best to recap it, but I couldn't get to a computer til just now so my memory may be a little vague.

At Foa Foa, Jaison can't stand the way things are going. I don't blame him. I don't think I'd be able to handle being out in the wilderness.

At Galu, Erik manages to find the Hidden Immunity Idol using the clues that Yasmin and Shambo had recieved. This could help him in the long run.

The Reward Challenge is a more individual challenge: The leaders select two people, one man and one woman, to accompany them to a challenge. Russell S. chooses Dave and Shambo and Mick chooses Russell H. and Natalie. The challenge is similar to Bochi Balls where Foa Foa is in the lead until a final toss by Dave secures their victory. Galu wins chickens to have for their tribe.

Back at Foa Foa, Russell talks to Natalie about taking her all the way to the final two. Natalie agrees to it and states in a confessional that she could possibly beat Russell since nobody likes him.

At the Immunity Challenge, Galu had a strong lead, but during the rope bridge stage Ashley and Russell made up a lot of ground and manage to secure their first Immunity win, which means someone from Galu will be voted out tonight.

Back at Galu, Russell talks with Erik about voting out Monica due to her weakness in the Immunity Challenge, while Monica talks with the others about voting out Yasmin because she doesn't pull her weight at camp.

At Tribal Council, life at camp and the challenge are discussed. Yasmin tries to state her case but ends up being voted out 8-2. Yasmin didn't have much of an impression on me, but her argument with Ben when she came to visit Foa Foa made me like her because Ben insulted her and I felt bad for her. So peace out Yasmin. And try not to kill yourself in the heels you wore into the game.

Today, I'm gonna make it official: a few days before New Year's Eve this year (I'm thinking December 28th?), I'm gonna start making a list of my favorite things of 2009. I used to do something similar on an older blog, listing my top 10 favorite songs of the year, but I'm gonna make it different on this blog and do my favorite things of 2009 this year.

I have already picked some of the winners, but I am going to post the nominees for things I haven't picked yet. Nominees are subject to change.

Like I listed in my nominees for favorite new TV show, I am officially hooked on the new show "Three Rivers". This is a CBS drama that airs Sunday nights after The Amazing Race. It takes place at Three Rivers Hospital in Pittsburgh, and it talks about the different aspects of the hospital: the doctors, patients and donors. I don't know what it is with me and primetime dramas that take place in hospitals (one of my favorite shows is Grey's Anatomy and I also like Private Practice), but I just like them.

Tonight kicks off my TV show week. I will now list the shows I watch on particular nights of the week, starting with Monday and ending on Sunday:

And I also watch "At the Movies" online, because where I am it airs at 5:30 am on Sundays, and I don't want to get up that early on a Sunday, so I just watch selected reviews online. I have watched the show since late 2005, and have always enjoyed it. I watched when Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper were the hosts, when Roeper had guest hosts, when Ben Lyons (eeeeee!) and Ben Mankiewicz were the hosts, and now I watch with current hosts A.O. Scott and Michael Phillips. I had seen both of them with Roeper and they were cool guys. And I like the way they interact with each other. When one doesn't like a movie, the other asks why not and they discuss it.

Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday, but I realized some bigger dreams of mine.

Yesterday I went to go see the movie "500 Days of Summer" in theaters. It came to my hometown a few weeks after it was released and I just haven't gotten around to seeing it til now. And since the other movie I want to see was only playing at the theater in the next town over and I didn't want to make the trip out there on a Saturday (I think a Friday would be better to see a movie out there), I went to see this one instead.

"500 Days of Summer" tells the story of Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Summer (Zooey Deschanel), two friends who are not sure where they stand in their relationship. The movie jumps around the different days of their relationship, beginning at day 1 and ending at day 500. They really like each other and do some romantic things, but Summer isn't sure that they should be boyfriend and girlfriend, as she doesn't really believe in true love.

The two leads are both very likeable (and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is adorable) and they made a sweet couple. The movie itself was very sweet and I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Some of my favorite scenes took place in a karaoke bar, which reminds me of great summer nights that I spent singing karaoke with friends or family.

This movie is definitely one of my favorites of 2009 and I will definitely be buying it on DVD. This movie definitely earns **** out of ****.

I hope I continue to have good movie going experiences when I see "Love Happens", "Fame" and "Whip It". All of these movies are on my list of 5 movies to see this fall, and I hope I can get to see them.

Here we go, way too fast, don't slow down, you're gonna crash

Thursday means that two great TV shows are on. "Grey's Anatomy" is my nighttime soap opera/hospital drama that I'm gonna get back into. And, of course, the show I recap every week for you lovely folks: "Survivor".

So tonight on Survivor, at Foa Foa, Russell H. is still running the show. He's REALLY getting on my last nerve, as is Ben. His comments to Yasmin when she came to visit the tribe really annoyed me.

So Russell spreads lies that Ashley brought up Ben's name before the previous Tribal Council, when it was really Betsy. So Ben wants Ashley voted out. I don't have much of an opinion on Ashley yet, but I don't get why everyone is hating on her when she did nothing wrong.

At Galu, the castaways are becoming more mentally refocused by doing yoga. This does not sit well with Shambo. I have mixed feelings on her which I will explain in a bit.

So the Reward/Immunity Challenge is won by Galu. They win Immunity and comfort. Russell S, the leader, is given the option to get what they originally won, or some pots and pans. Russell immediately takes the comfort. He also chooses Shambo to be sent over to Foa Foa to observe the tribe. Shambo gets along well with the women of Foa Foa. I like that she gets along with them, but her attitude on Galu just bugs me.

Mick, the leader of Foa Foa, talks with Russell H., about forming an alliance and he agrees. Jaison talks with Ashley and Mick about Ben's comments and says that he needs to go.

At Tribal Council, Jaison and Ben argue a lot about Ben's attitude. I gotta give props to Jaison for defending himself. The vote goes unanimously to Ben and he is the 3rd castaway voted off of "Survivor: Samoa". His comments last week and this week really irritated me. So peace out and good riddance Ben!

So that's this week's recap of Survivor! I will try to update often. And there's some movies I want to see, and if I get to see any of them I will give my reviews.

You're like an Indian summer in the middle of winter, like a hard candy with a surprise center

Since today was really a do-nothing day as I am sick, I decided to blog.

Inspired by one of the blogs I follow, Dan Barbour (http://bydan.blogspot.com), I wanted to make a list of 5 movies I want to see this fall. There will probably be others I want to see that I can't think of, but here are 5 that I know of. They will go in order of how badly I want to see them.

5. "Fantastic Mr. Fox" 11/25/09
I had read the book when I was younger (more like one of my friends read it to me), and I enjoyed it. It is also a stop-motion animated film, one of my favorite types of animated films (with Corpse Bride, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Chicken Run and Coraline some of the best I've seen).

4. "Whip It" 10/2/09
Drew Barrymore's directorial debut film. I have always liked Drew Barrymore as an actress, so I want to see how her directing skills are. Plus I have heard good things about Ellen Page as an actress (I have yet to see "Juno", but I want to see that).

3. "Love Happens" already in theaters
Jennifer Aniston is one of my favorite actresses, so any movie she's in I'm down for seeing. Plus I'm always up for a good romantic movie. And I liked Aaron Eckhart in "The Dark Knight", so we'll see how he does here.

2. "Fame" already in theaters.
A reinvention of the 1980 film of the same title, this film follows performing arts students at a performing arts school in New York. Having never seen the original, I want to go in this one with an open mind. Plus I am a big fan of musicals, having sung my share of show tunes in either choir, shows, voice lessons or just on my own time.

1. "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" 11/20/09
Sequel to the ever-popular "Twilight", based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer, this film follows Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) after her vampire boyfriend (Robert Pattinson) leaves unexpectedly, and her friendship with werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). The book of this upcoming film was a bit boring, but I hope the movie does it justice.

So there are 5 movies I would like to see this fall. Honorable mentions go to "The Princess and the Frog", "Where The Wild Things Are" and "A Christmas Carol". I will most likely see those too.

Coming down from up above, cloudy with a chance of love.

Today I saw the movie "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" in theaters. The movie, based on the 1978 book of the same title, tells about an island in the Atlantic where the weather comes 3 times a day: at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The movie serves as a backstory of how that came to be.

The animated movie is about Flint Lockwood (voice of Bill Hader), a young inventor on the island of Swallow Falls whose inventions are not so good. His father (voice of James Caan) wants him to work in the bait and tackle shop on the island, but Flint wants to keep inventing. He finally decides to invent something to solve the problem of the only food on the island being sardines: a machine that converts water vapor into food.

At the unveiling of a new segment of the island, Flint sneaks away with his invention to plug into a higher source of electricity and in the process destroys the entire attraction and launches his machine into the sky. Eventually it starts raining cheeseburgers, and the town is pleased.

Soon there are lots of requests for different food to rain from the sky, so Flint builds a communication device. The Mayor (voice of Bruce Campbell) renames the town ChewAndSwallow and decides to make it a tourist attraction. Flint also finds love with weather girl Sam Sparks (voice of Anna Faris), a perky girl who hides her intelligence. But problems arise and the machine that converts water into food goes haywire and rains huge food, so it's up to Flint and Sam to stop it.

The movie had a beautiful look to it, and all the voice actors were first rate. I particularly enjoyed Mr. T as a police officer who is very athletic. He had some very good lines. Plus Hader and Faris made a cute animated couple and they were just so sweet with each other.

My one problem with the movie is that the plot was a little rushed and things jumped from one thing to the next rather quickly. That said, it was still very good, and during the end credits I just started singing along to Miranda Cosgrove's song for the movie, "Raining Sunshine", which I posted in an earlier post. Overall, I will give "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" ***1/2 out of ****.

Take it or leave it, make it or break it, boy we only got tonight.

Before I do my Survivor commentary tonight, I want to do two things: first, apologize for the lack of updates, things have been crazy around here plus something's up with my laptop charger so I didn't get to blog much, and second, tell everyone to go buy Kris Allen's debut single "Live Like We're Dying" on iTunes. He won "American Idol" season 8 and is a brilliant artist.

Now, on to what I came here to do. Recap tonight's episode of Survivor.

So things at Foa Foa are a little different with Marisa gone. Russell H. teams up with Jaison to form an alliance. Jaison agrees to this.

The combined Reward/Immunity challenge is a physical challenge that involves a lot of wrestling and pushing people away. Two goals into it Jeff warns the tribe that if another physical harm is done, whoever did it will be pulled out of the challenge. Ben on Foa Foa goes a little too far and is the first person ever in the history of Survivor to be pulled out of a challenge for being too rough. Galu goes on to win the challenge and wins Immunity and fishing gear.

After the challenge Jeff tells Russell S., the leader of Galu, to select one member of his tribe to go over to Foa Foa to observe them and sit in on their next Tribal Council; Russell chooses Yasmin. She recieves a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol, which Russell H. already found. He also tells Foa Foa to stick around because he wanted the Medical Team to take a look at Mike, who was low on oxygen during the challenge and wasn't feeling well. The doctor diagnosed that his blood pressure was too low and that he be removed from the game due to medical reasons. I am always sad when a player is eliminated for medical reasons, whether I liked the player or not. Like last season with Joe. I liked him a lot, he reminded me a bit of this barista who works at the Starbucks I always go to (coincidentally also named Joe), and he had to be pulled from the game because something was wrong with his leg. I was really sad.

So at Foa Foa Yasmin decides to stir things up. This does not settle well with Ben, and his comments about Yasmin do not settle well with Betsy. Russell, being the Puppet Master that he is (that term reminds me of this really wtf-worthy dance that I saw on TV and ended up teaching at my school for this acting thing. I felt like a cheerleader hyped up on sugar), targets Betsy for elimination because she doesn't trust him, and he rallies everyone together to vote for her.

At Tribal Council, Yasmin sits in and observes while the tribemates talk about what she did while she was with their tribe. Before the vote, Yasmin is sent back to her tribe. Betsy quietly sings the "Cops" theme song as she casts her vote for Ben. And Ben said that he thought she was a good cop, but ended up being a bad cop, then fired an imaginary gun at her as he cast his vote. Betsy ends up being unanimously voted out 7-1. I didn't have much of an opinion on Betsy because it's so early on in the game, but I was like "you go girl!" when she said she didn't trust Russell. My mom's friend asked me if I hated him and of course I did. So peace out Betsy. You rock for not liking Russell.

I decided, that in addition to posting my thoughts about life, I will make a point to update this blog every Thursday night to give my commentary on "Survivor: Samoa". Also, last season's runner-up, Stephen Fishbach, will keep commentary on people.com with his thoughts on strategic moves. Stephen was my favorite from last season, and I have talked to him on his Twitter, he's very nice. To read his blog on people.com, go here.
So tonight kicked off with 20 castaways. Host Jeff Probst told the each tribe to vote for their designated leader. Foa Foa (wearing yellow) voted for Mick, and Galu (wearing purple) voted for Russell S. (there are two Russells this season). Then each tribe leader picked castaways participate in a challenge. Foa Foa won the challenge and won flint to light a fire.

When the challenge was over, each tribe went to their respecitive campsites. On Foa Foa, Russell H. made two alliances: his dumb girls alliance and a partnership with fellow castaway Betsy. That night he lied about being a part of Hurricane Katrina, dumped out all the castaways' canteens of water, and burned a castaway's socks. Stephen mentioned on his blog that Jeff Probst said that Russell was "the closest thing to evil we've ever had on Survivor". And so far, he's proving to be pretty bad.

At the Immunity Challenge, Foa Foa fell behind in the beginning, caught up in the final stage, but ultimately fell short to Galu. Before Galu went back to their campsite, Jeff gave them flint. Before their tribal council, castaway Marisa told Russell that she was worried about him, which made Russell feel he could not trust her, and he convinced everyone to vote her out.

At Tribal Council, Jeff asked Betsy who he thought the weakest player was so far, and she said Ashley. Ashley stuck up for herself, but Betsy still voted for her. Ultimately it was Marisa who went home with a vote of 7-3. Since it was just the first episode, I didn't have much of an impression on Marisa besides the fact that she was quick on her feet (her tribe's leader, Mick, designated her the "most agile" for her team) and very pretty. So peace out Marisa. I'm sorry I didn't see much of you.

Life is more than just how many breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

A few days ago, a contestant from the American Idol semi-finals this past season, who has become a good friend of mine, Alex Wagner-Trugman, posted the following on Twitter:

"you ever have those albums that remind you of a certain time in life? evolver by john legend is bringing back sophomore year memories."

I thought about that for awhile, and came to the conclusion that yeah, I have not particular albums, but more like particular songs that remind me of a certain time in life. Since I didn't have anything better to blog about today, I'm gonna list all the songs that I can think of that bring back memories of a particular time in my life. We're gonna go in chronological order, starting with the summer of 2006.

1. "Gold Digger" by Kanye West featuring Jamie Foxx. The cast of "Glee" recently released a version of it. There's no cursing in this version and is more family friendly, and when I listened to it, I was transported back to the summer of 2006. I was at my summer camp in Amherst, MA, and we had a talent show on the first Saturday I was there. The very first act was the head of the theater part of the camp, Paul, reciting the song "Gold Digger" as if it were a dramatic piece. And he had a guy next to him replacing all the swear words with more family-friendly words that meant the same thing. It was REALLY hilarious and I ended up adapting that for a performing group at my school. My friend Jon did the reciting and I replaced all the swear words with the family-friendly words. The kids got a kick out of it too.

2. "My Destiny" Katharine McPhee. Katharine was runner-up of "American Idol" season 5, and she was my favorite female contestant of that season. "My Destiny" was her first single. I sang it in the camp talent show in 2006, and then the first 2 verses of it on the final night of camp in 2007. Normally I don't like repeating songs more than once for a crowd, but I felt "My Destiny" was an exception. The lyrics pretty much summed up the summer of 2007 for me into 3 minutes and 48 seconds (idk how long the first 2 verses are, but yeah). I was a counselor that summer at that same camp, and it was stressful and hard, but through all the mistakes I had made, I still managed to have an amazing summer, plus I had my best friend Brian by my side. When I mentioned I was gonna sing something, my division leader said that it wasn't really a singing thing, but I'm the type of person who breaks the mold and shakes things up (usually). So I sang the song for Brian, then he came down with this big smile on his face and gave me a hug, while the entire camp cheered. It was just incredible.

3. "U Can't Touch This" MC Hammer. This song was my friend Josh and I's jam. He had burned it onto a CD mix and brought it with him on one of the dress rehearsal nights for one of the plays we did together, I can't remember which one. And then I had written a skit based on a conversation with my friends Jon and Rica, titled "Actual, Real-Life, Not Fake Conversation Between 3 People". And then I was visiting my stepgrandparents over Thanksgiving break in 2006, I was listening to the song "U Can't Touch This" and I decided it'd be a funny addition to the skit. I had originally planned on performing it with Jon and Rica but neither of them were able to attend that night, so I picked my friend Josh to do it because I knew he knew the song, and I picked my friend Faith just because she's awesome. And I actually have the skit recorded on youtube:

I'm the one in the hat, Faith is the one in the white dress and Josh is the guy. I showed this to my clique of friends and they all loved it. My friend Mackenzy said it was epic, and my friend Melanie commented that I really knew how to let loose and that she didn't think she could ever do that. And then they played that song at prom in 2008. Josh arrived shortly after they played it and I ran up to him and told him they played it.

4. "Summer of '69" Bryan Adams. This song is my best friend Brian and I's song. At the end of the summer of 2007, I dedicated this song to him on the Delilah show and wrote a song for him to the tune of it. That's all I'll say about this one.

5. "The Rainbow Connection" Kermit the Frog. My senior year of high school I started to become obsessed with the Muppets. I wrote a monolouge about one of the Sesame Street Muppets and rented The Muppet Movie over and over and over again. And I got my sister to watch it with me too. And I also had to explain to my friend Davis what Muppets were. She was covering this performing group I was participating in for the school yearbook, and when I mentioned to her that my piece was about a Muppet, she asked what a Muppet was. I was like "What's a Muppet!? Child, you have been deprived." I did my best to explain it to her. Muppets are hard to explain haha. And then I ended up learning that song in my voice lessons in college and singing it for my vocal jury.

6. "What Hurts the Most" Rascal Flatts. It's a really sad song, but I shared a dance with one of my best friends, Michael, to that song at my senior prom. That's what my memory of that song is.

7. "Don't Stop Believin'" Journey. Wow, oh my word, where do I begin with this song? I'll start with homecoming my senior year. I requested that the DJ play this song, and when they did, I mentioned to my crush at the time, Luke, that I liked it. He hadn't heard it before. Then when we were both in the gym, I said "C'mon Luke, let's dance," and he said "Okay," so we just slow danced to the final chorus of that song and sort of lip-synced the words while we were dancing. And when we were done, the only thing I can think of to say was "thank you," so I did. My second good memory of the song is that I made a video for Adam Lambert set to this song, and it is now my most-viewed video on my current youtube account (over 140,000 views). And my 3rd memory of this song dates back to this past summer. One night at the end of June, I went out for karaoke with my aunt Debby, cousin Bonny and my grandma. I was looking through one of the song books to see if they had Don't Stop Believin', and they did. When I told Bonny that I was gonna go sing it, she mentioned that Journey was going to be at the Iowa State Fair. I went up to give the guy programming the song codes in my song number, and I mentioned that they were gonna be at the fair and he said yeah they were. Then I mentioned that I loved the song, and he said he loved it too and then offered to sing it with me. I said sure. So we had a nice little duet. He can't sing at all, but it was still fun. And after all that I gave him a big hug, held him kinda tight. Hey, he was cute!

8. "Eventually" The Naked Brothers Band. In the summer of 2008, my home state of Iowa was hit by a lot of rainfalls/tornadoes, which then resulted in flooding. I didn't live near any rivers, but my old work was near one, and twice we had to move people to the back of the store because of a tornado scare. It was annoying and stupid, but we got paid for doing it. This song is about hope, and the lyrics just felt so suited for what my state was going through: "the sun will find us all eventually, eventually".

And my current song jam is "Super Freak" by Rick James. I first heard it in this commercial:

and I thought it was hilarious. I want to make a video of me and a friend jamming out to this song. But first I need a camcorder and a friend to do it with me. I want to make it kind of a cross between "iCarly" and this fanfiction I'm writing right now.

It's been eons since I last updated, but I've just been SO busy with school and exhausted by the end of the day.

Not very much has gone on with me besides talking to my usual group of girlfriends. Three new girls have joined my group since I last mentioned. Now there are 7 of us: Lily (me), Theresa, Kathleen, Melanie, Mackenzy, Sarah and Brianna. We talk about everything: boys, school, music, movies, TV shows, and life in general. We always talk about encounters with the boys we like (there are two at my school I currently like, and one that's in my life and dear to me but I just haven't talked to in awhile), what we think of current entertainment news (e.g. Ellen DeGeneres was announced as Paula Abdul's replacement on "American Idol", we all think it will be interesting because she's very funny but we're not sure if she's musically able to judge them), and we always have a shoulder to lean on whenever we have problems. I always share my video song covers and video blogs with them and get their feedback (they always love them).

I love those girls because I know I can always talk to them about anything in my life that I want to talk about. They're just amazing and I know I will keep them with me my whole life. And we all agreed to meet up at my wedding to whomever. We're gonna go to IHOP on the morning of it and I think they'll all be my bridesmaids. I love them so much!

That's my story of the night. I'm gonna get some rest now. I only have one class tomorrow, so that's a plus. I'll try to update this more often next week, but I don't make any promises.

It's not just in your mind, it's raining sunshine

Once again, I apologize for the lack of blog updates. I've been very busy. This week was my first week of school and it's been crazy.

The first thing I want to do is share the song that will be the center of this blog entry.

This song is called "Raining Sunshine" and it's by Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove, best known for her roles on "Drake and Josh" and "iCarly". The song is going to be featured on the soundtrack for the movie "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs", which hits theaters on September 18th. I heard a snippit of the song on Nickelodeon, which I watch frequently because I have siblings aged 8-and-a-half and 6. I loved it, and the music video debuted last night and it fit well to the theme of the song and the movie. Miranda confirmed on her Twitter that the music video will be on her youtube page tomorrow. Will share when I can.

This song has helped me through this week very well. On Thursday night my brother had to go to the ER because he stabbed the inside of his ear with a tiny plastic toy sword. My sister cried even harder than he did, so I went downstairs, got my laptop, and since my main iTunes library has whatever song I pick to play on repeat, I put this song on and we listened to it a few times before she calmed down.

On Friday, while I was watching "The Daily 10" on E! News, they interrupted the show to break the news that popular New York DJ Adam Goldstein, best known as DJ AM, died at 5:20 pm EST. Drug paraphenilia was found in his apartment so they're trying to determine if he overdosed. The following day I recorded a version of this song on youtube for both him and a contestant from the American Idol top 36 that I talk to regularly on Twitter. Will share that with you another time.

And today I've just been really depressed. I've been thinking a lot that I will never find a Mr. Right. I was in a bad relationship when I was 15, never was asked to prom, never asked out on a date unless it was a dare (I always turned the guy down because I didn't like whoever it was), and my mom doesn't think I'll find someone either. She told me I can't live at home forever (which I wasn't planning on: I'm hoping to move to Boston next year for college, but need to get out of the house sooner than that because my stepdad and I DO NOT get along at all and I've had enough of it). I protested that someday I'll get married (to some guy that I meet in the future, who knows who that'll be), and she exasperatedly replied "TO WHO!?". Which really hurt me. I've never really been told I'm pretty (in fact I've been told quite the opposite on youtube, which is now why on all my personal videos comments either have to be approved if they're not friends with me, or disabled altogether, and comments on my channel page have to be approved as well), and I'm just coming to the conclusion that no guy will ever want me.

That song, "Raining Sunshine" always makes me feel better when I'm sad, angry, nervous, etc. So thank you Miranda Cosgrove for helping me feel better when I'm down.

I'm writing this blog from my grandma's house in Des Moines, IA, listening to the Delilah show and just trying to wind down from the crazy day.

I was up at 6:15 getting the rest of my things together to hit the road. My Uncle Barry came with us. We got here around 10:00 and I charged up my iPod. I had left my charger here and while I was at home my iPod had died. so it was nice to get it all charged up again. Plus I had added some new songs to my library, so it was nice to finally have them for my iPod.

I'm listening to Delilah right now. Some of my favorite songs have been played tonight, each bringing back another good memory of my life, or reminding me of someone special in my life.

I was talking with my friends Katie and Kayla today about everything. They are my closest vices, along with my best friend Jenny. We talk about everything and anything that there is to talk about. Be it about music, school, life, romance, etc, we talk about it. They're just SO easy to talk to. And we share a lot of the same interests. So it's nice to have friends like that.

Well, I'm just rambling now, so I'll sign off this blog and try to relax and wind down a bit more.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates.........I've just been REALLY busy and exhausted by the end of the day.

But boy do I have some stories for you!

A couple of nights ago on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, I was transported back in time a few years, and I will tell you why. They have a new lifeline called "Ask the Expert", where famed authors, TV hosts and other people get to help out the contestant. You obtain this lifeline after you reach $1000.

Well, a couple of nights ago, the expert on Millionaire was Ken Jennings. He is the ultimate trivia nerd (we'd get along well, because my friend Steff picked me as "most likely to win at trivia on facebook). He won "Jeopardy!" 74 times in a row (I am not kidding. Just look him up on wikipedia if you don't believe me).

So, a couple of nights ago, I was transported back 5 years to the summmer of 2004. I was 14 years old, turning 15 the day before the episode he lost aired. I was about to enter my freshman year of high school, working as a volunteer at the public library on Fridays, seeing a movie in theaters practically every week.

I don't remember exactly how I found out about Ken, but something drew me in to watching Jeopardy! every week to see if he was gonna win. And on days I went to movies, or on Fridays when I was at the library, I made my mom watch it to see if he won (and of course he did).

And I had this unusal crush on him. I have always been known to fall for the nerdy boys, and I guess I did even when I was 14. But he's a lot older than I am and married. So I have no chance haha. I don't care tho.

Early on during his big run, I made this vow that if he lost, I would paint my nails black. And he lost on the day after my 15th birthday, so I had to rub off my favorite color of nail polish (Psychadelic Pop, which is a hot pink) and paint my nails black. I got irritated because that was my favorite color that I was wearing in honor of it being my birthday week. But a vow is a vow, so I had to follow through.

So when Regis announced he was the expert for the night, I seriously had a spaz attack. Ken Jennings was always really cool, good-looking, and knew a lot about trivia. It'd be cool to meet him!

So that's my story of the night. I'm going up to Des Moines one last time tomorrow, just for the weekend. Then I start school on Monday. Will be sure to tell you of any exciting things that happen at school!

Another Tuesday done!

Today I woke up at like 6:15 am, which is early for me. I'm used to sleeping in, but then again, I have to get back in the "school" routine since school starts for me on the 24th. My siblings start this Thursday.

Big events of the day were that I went to school to figure out my schedule, only to learn that Walk-In Advising ended JUST as I got there, so I have to go back tomorrow. I need to figure out a class to take the place of Spanish. Per the suggestion of my mom I dropped it, but I need to meet with an adviser to figure out a class to take in its place because I'll drop below full-time if I don't. Plus my siblings had their back-to-school ice cream social, but I didn't go. I stayed home to watch The Daily 10 and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. My friend Kayla and I kept our commentary going via Twitter, just like we did for I Survived a Japanese Game Show. The celebrity guest tonight was Wynonna Judd, who Kayla loves. I haven't heard too many of her songs, but I will have to give some a listen.

Also, I learned that Shania Twain is going to be a guest judge during the American Idol auditions. I grew up listening to her and have 2 of her CDs. I remember at my 11th birthday party, we rented a limo and drove around town, and during the trip we listened to Shania and sang along. She's an amazing artist, one of my favorite country singers. I re-uploaded one of her CDs to my iPod and plan on re-uploading the other one soon.

So that's the story of my life on August 18th, so I will sign off for now and just relax to the sounds of this playlist I started making a few days ago.

Since Twitter is currently down, I'm gonna take a minute to write in my blog.

Today wasn't really all that exciting. The biggest event of today was that I had a doctor appointment. Not like a physical or anything, but I take a lot of medication, two of which being anti-depressants, so I had to check in with that doctor today. I always look forward to those appointments, even though they're only every 3-6 months. The doctor who handles my meds is a good guy. We always manage to talk about some other things besides the routine questions he asks me. Like the last time I was there, I was wearing my "Twilight" t-shirt, and before he asked me the routine questions we talked about the Twilight series. And when he was done asking all the questions, he asked if I had a boyfriend. I said, "not quite. There IS a guy," (referring to my almost-boyfriend, Billy, who I've mentioned before), and we talked a bit about him, and I said "we're not, like 'official' but we're getting somewhere". And then my doctor asked if my guy was a vampire. And I laughed and said he wasn't.

Today we talked a little bit about movies we've seen. And I mentioned to him that the longest movie I will sit through in one sitting has to be 2 and a half hours at max, like the Harry Potter movies. He mentioned that he hadn't seen them yet and I told them he should. I've seen all the movies in the series except for the 5th one, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", because I was at camp at the time it was released and couldn't get to a theater.

Speaking of movies, there's a lot of movies coming out this fall that look interesting. Like the writer of one of the blogs I read, Dan Barbour (http://bydan.blogspot.com), when I know of 5 movies I want to see this fall, I will make a list. I'm single, and don't really do anything on the weekends, plus I'll have some money from my student loan, so I'll be sure to let you know of any movies I see and will give my review.

I don't have a list of 5 (yet), but I do have one big movie I really want to see.

I have been a fan of the Twilight books since last fall. I love to read (and have a LOT of books I want to read). I am currently reading the 3rd book in the Twilight series, "Eclipse". The first movie in the series, "Twilight" was released last November, and I saw it on the opening day. I only had one class that day in the morning, so before my class I stopped at the theater (it's across the street from my school) to buy my ticket. And fortunately there really wasn't much of a line. So I saw it, enjoyed it, and now own it on DVD.

Well, the sequel to the movie, "New Moon", comes out on November 20th. Depending on what my schedule is like this semester, I am going to see it on the opening day or the day after. And I will get in line when the box office opens, like I always do when there's a huge movie coming out that day that I want to see. The huge movie I didn't see on the opening day, that I can think of, is "The Dark Knight". I waited a week to see it, because 1) it was going to be a zoo, and 2) there was another movie opening that same day that I wanted to see, so I saw that instead.

So I'm looking forward to New Moon this November. And if I can think of 4 other movies I want to see, I will make a list of them and why I want to see them.

Now that's wraps up my rant of the day, so I will sign off this blog, and write in 3 real journals. I'm almost done writing in one of them, so I have to start a new one soon.

Wow, I am SO SORRY for the lack of updates, I've been so busy that I neglected to blog. Please forgive me.

Well this weekend has been exciting. My sister and her friend Sarah have been hanging out together all weekend. So I had 3 little kids to keep my eye on this weekend. They start school on Thursday, their ice cream social is Tuesday. I start school the 24th. I can't believe summer is almost over.

This summer I got to spend lots of time with my family, listen to some great music, watch some amazing TV shows, make some videos showing my musical talent, and talk to some of the most amazing people in the world. Be it over Twitter, facebook, myspace, idolforums.com or archuletafans.com, I managed to meet and talk to some amazing people. They're all so easy to talk to and I can trust them with anything.

I just thought of something I could do on this blog: give reviews of some new CDs that I like. My first one will be Colbie Caillait's CD "Breakthrough", which comes out next Tuesday. I'm gonna get an iTunes card sometime this week when I go out, because the pop cans need to be taken back. I love the first single off that CD, "Fallin' For You" because it describes my life right now. I like some guys but I am not sure if I should tell them I'm falling for them. It's just a pretty song and fun to sing. I actually used that song in one of my fanfics, and it was a nice addition and a hit with my readers.

Well, my lovely readers, I am gonna sign off for now and try to catch some z's...........I have a doctor appointment tomorrow. Hoping it goes well.

Another Wednesday passed, another middle-of-the-week come and gone, another boring, ordinary day in my life.

Tonight I started watching what will be my new addiction, "The Daily 10" on E! News, then another night of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" on ABC, then I watched a movie (like I do every night), and then I re-watched the series finale of "Friends", which I own on DVD. The series finale aired in May 2004, when I was in 8th grade. I remember watching it with my mom, and my stepdad and sister watched it in another room. Then when I was visiting my grandma for my cousin David's graduation, my now-late Uncle Brian and I ran to Wal-Mart and I bought it on DVD. I re-watched it tonight cuz I had nothing better to watch.

I remember that the ending was satisfying to fans of the show, and it was really good. I was a casual fan of the series because it ran its original run when I was younger and I'd sometimes watch it with my mom.

And the theme song, "I'll Be There For You" by the Rembrandts, is the perfect anthem for friendship. I am actually listening to it as we speak, and am thinking about singing it on youtube in the future and dedicating it to all my friends, both online and in real life. First I need to learn it a little better. It's just a really happy song and it's a good song to sing to your friends when they're feeling down. It even says so in the lyrics:

I'll be there for you when the rain starts to pour
I'll be there for you like I've been there before
I'll be there for you, because you're there for me too.

Just remember that song when you or someone else is feeling down. It just has a nice message. Just saying that you'll always be there for someone because someone is there for you too. It's just got an amazing theme to it and if you give it a closer listen, it's just an amazing song.

So now I'm gonna stop preaching to the Bloggerverse about friendship and write in my real journals, but keep this in the back of your mind. Will check in tomorrow!

Today was a slightly better day than yesterday was, but still kinda boring as I didn't really leave the house. Just watched TV, played some addicting facebook games, talked to Emily and my other girlfriends, and updated two fanfictions. And re-read them over and over again.

Tonight when I was talking with my friend Theresa, she shared some tips about how to kiss a boy, because my friends Melanie, Sarah and I were wondering how to kiss, since none of us have ever been kissed. I've only been kissed on the cheek by guys I didn't really like. And Theresa being the expert she is, she shared the tips that she found in "Seventeen" magazine (which I read sometimes), and me being the dork I am, I saved them to my computer. Melanie did the same too. We may be dorks, but we're each other's dorks.

And also, I forgot to mention this yesterday, but it's something I wanted to share.

I have been an avid watcher of the TV show "At the Movies" since 2005. Since it's always on at 5:30 am where I am, I just watch my selected reviews online. I have watched it when Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper hosted it, when Roeper had guest hosts (when Ebert had thyroid surgery and lost his voice), when Michael Phillips became Roeper's permanent guest host, and when Ben Lyons (my main man in the world of movies) and Ben Mankiewicz became the hosts.

I just recently read online that beginning September 5th, Lyons and Mankiewicz will no longer host the show (after barely a year), and will instead be replaced by Michael Phillips and A.O. Scott. I personally have seen both of these guys host with Richard Roeper and I like both of them, but I am just very attached to Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz because I usually agreed with what they had to say. And even if they didn't like a movie I wanted to see, sometimes I saw it anyway. Plus, I've had a crush on Ben Lyons since October 2008. I told him this via Twitter (in the sense that I thought he was amazing and have loved him since October), and he replied back saying thanks and that his birthday is in October (October 8th, to be specific). When I heard the news that he and Mank were no longer hosting, I sent him another Tweet saying that I was bummed out. He tweeted me again saying that he appreciated the kind words. And I know that it's really him Tweeting me because his account is verified. Judging from those two Tweets he sent me, he seems like a very nice person that I'd enjoy meeting someday.

Today was a mixture of amazing and horrible: got into bad fights with my parents (still don't know how I live with them! It's horrible!), but I figured out financial aid for school, got an iced coffee, re-connected with one of my closest friends, and watched the Teen Choice Awards.

I mentioned in an earlier blog about my friend Emily. She managed to re-connect with me and now we've been talking about everything. Our future, what's going on right now, and everything in between.

And I'm also getting re-hooked on this facebook game called "The Heist". You collect characters from TV shows, cartoons, movies, and even the lists of the sexiest people alive. My friend Max introduced me to it and I got permanently stuck on it, then kinda drifted away from it, and now I'm getting re-hooked.

And I also wrapped up chapter one of a fanfiction trilogy I am writing. The series is my David Archuleta "songfiction" series, and there are 3 stories. "I Drove All Night" is part one, and told the story of 3 best friends: Vanessa Keller, Devonne Hart, and Casey Jayne Cabot (played by Casey Carlson, Demi Lovato, and my friend Casey Jayne, respectively), who take a road trip from Minnesota to New York City so that Casey Jayne and, eventually, Vanessa can audition for a record deal. They pick up David Archuleta on the way, and have all sorts of adventures, plus Vanessa and David find time to fall in love.

Part 2, "Shut Up and Drive" will start soon. I have one other story I am going to update. And with this series, I try to include the song that inspired the title in the story. For example, "I Drove All Night", originally by Cyndi Lauper but covered by Celine Dion, is the song that Vanessa sings for her audition for the record deal. And then "Shut Up and Drive", a song by Rihanna, the characters will say that phrase to cab drivers who talk too much, and I'm considering having the characters rock out to that song at the end.

I always base my stories in trilogies. I have no idea why, but I just do. My first big trilogy was a series of stories I wrote with my great-aunt, then I have my David Archuleta songfiction trilogy, in which the first story is complete. My other David Archuleta trilogy is the Abby Gomez trilogy, which will be based on the first two "Scream" movies and the TV show "Harper's Island". So it's a horror/thriller/murder-mystery series. I am currently writing the first story, which is based on "Scream". I mentioned the story in an earlier blog and described the characters that survived the whole series. And my other trilogy I am working on is my Adam Lambert songfiction series. The first story is "So Close", and I'm working out the details of the second story, "If My Heard Had Wings". With this series, I use the song and the original artist. "So Close" is by Jennette McCurdy, and I cast her as the main character's best friend. So she'll be a main character in all 3 stories. And "If My Heart Had Wings" is by Faith Hill, and I cast her as the main character's mom. And then I figured since I'm using Faith Hill, I may as well use Tim McGraw, so I made him the main character's dad. This series is the love story of Jessica Wagner (Taylor Swift) and Adam Lambert (himself). And Jessica's best friend is Shelley Middleton (Jennette McCurdy), and they always stick together.

Today was kinda boring. Normally, Saturday's aren't that boring, but today it was. Not too much went on besides some housework.

But tonight I got to talk with a new friend, Melissa. We talked about love, life and everything in between. She's really nice.

And tonight, like I do pretty much every night, I tweeted up a storm. When I tweet, I usually talk to my friend Katie, who's becoming one of my best friends. I first met her on archuletafans.com, but never really talked to her until Twitter. We talk about everything, and we always share what we're listening to at the moment.

Katie's one of those girls who I can tell anything to, and she'll give me advice, comment on it, and will do so without judging you. She may be far away, but she's amazing. Her birthday's 4 days before mine, so maybe we'll have a twitter party together to celebrate. She's just awesome and I hope that maybe I'll meet her someday.

Matt Giraud just posted an amazing BubbleTweet of him beatboxing with season 6 runner-up Blake Lewis. It was probably one of the most epic things I've seen in awhile. I loved it! My friend Chelsey has met Blake a few times since she lives in Seattle, which is where he's from, and she said he's really nice. I'd like to meet him someday. I haven't met anyone from American Idol yet, but I hope to soon.

Funny, I'm actually listening to "High Hopes and Heartbreak", by season 7 alum Brooke White. She's an incredible artist and always has nice things to say on Twitter. If she comes to Iowa, I will definitely see her in concert. Brooke seems like a nice person too.

Tomorrow I'm heading back to my hometown, and will let y'all know if anything exciting happens. We'll see!

Another Friday done, another day passed, another week about to be wrapped up.

I'm gonna run through the highlights of my day, then give a movie review.

Basically, today, I saw a movie, went out to eat, burned things, and went to Wal-Mart. It was pretty fun.

Now for a movie review.

Today I saw "The Ugly Truth" starring Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler. Katherine Heigl is one of my favorite actresses (she plays Izzie, my favorite character on "Grey's Anatomy), so anything that she's in, I'm down for seeing.

The movie is about Abby Richter (Heigl), a morning show producer that is considered a control freak cuz she analyzes everything and has to have everything done a certain way. I can relate a little to that since I kind of like things done a certain way and have to do the same things in the same order. Her morning show is suffering from poor ratings, so her boss brings in Mike Chadway (Butler), a local cable access show host who is known for his chauvinistic views on relationships. Both Abby and Mike clash at first, but he gives her advice on how to win over her new neighbor, Colin (Eric Winter).

The movie was very cute, a bit raunchy at times, and both Heigl and Butler give good performances. This is only the 3rd R-rated movie I've seen in theaters since I turned 17 (the other two being "Knocked Up" which also stars Heigl, and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"), and I think it was very good. Some scenes were a little too much, but overall, I will give this ***1/2 out of ****.

The next movie I hope to see is "The Time-Traveler's Wife". I saw a preview for it when I went to see "My Sister's Keeper" and again today, and I just think it looks really good. Rachel McAdams is one of the leading roles, and she's another one of my favorite actresses. If I get to see it, I will let you know how it is!

Well it's time for me to get some sleep. So I will go to sleep now and will talk to you tomorrow!

Another typical Thursday: was short, but had a good adventure.

I woke up, had some coffee and just hung at my grandma's for awhile, and helped her out. I burned some cardboard and stuff out in my grandma's burning barrel and watched it burn. I have no idea why, but I find it fascinating when things burn. It's just cool.

Tonight was a lot of fun too. We had chicken for dinner that was awesome, then we ventured up to West Des Moines to do some shopping. The department store at one of the malls has a MAC counter and we took a look at the stuff there. I ended up getting a nice, pale-colored sparkly lip gloss and silver eye shadow. I normally wear a lot of blues and purples, but I decided to try something different, and the silver color was really pretty.

Tomorrow I have a lot of stuff to do, and tomorrow night, we're going to the movies. My mom and grandma are going to see "Julie and Julia", while I'm going to see "The Ugly Truth". Will give my review tomorrow! Katherine Heigl is one of my favorite actresses, so I always make sure to see a movie she's in. I ADORE her as Izzie on "Grey's Anatomy" (and am glad she didn't die).

It took a lot to take you home, one stupid call and I end up alone.

Today was just another typical Tuesday: hung out at home, had some coffee, watched TV, and Tweeted up a storm.

Tonight the big topic on Twitter was trying to get record companies to sign "American Idol" season 8 finalist Matt Giraud.

Giraud, if you remember, was the 5th place finalist this season, a dueling pianist from Kalamazoo, MI, and the recipient of the "Judges' Save", where he was spared elimination and then eliminated for good 2 weeks later.

I first heard Matt's final Hollywood solo, where he sang "Georgia On My Mind" and I thought he was phenomenal. He made it to the top 36, and he picked a song that wasn't the best for him, "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay. I actually liked his performance of it. He didn't advance to the final 13, but was brought back for the Wild Card round and he was chosen to advance to the final 13.

Matt is an amazing artist. He's been compared to the likes of Justin Timberlake, Michael Buble, Chris Martin, and Isaac Slade. He's a great singer, amazing on the piano, and I think he'd make a great artist. He deserves to have a recording contract, and if he is signed, I will definitely buy his CD. Plus I've seen interviews with him and he's VERY funny........I think he and I would be good friends. And we both love Disney movies, so if we were friends we could get together and watch them.

He released a couple of albums prior to Idol.......I haven't heard them yet, but if I get a chance, I will give them a listen. I bet they are amazing.....just like he is. And I really hope he gets signed to a major label and puts out a CD, cuz it'll be awesome.

So there's my rant of the night, may not be the best, but it's after 1:00 am and I'm blaring All Time Low in my ears. I'm heading back up to my grandma's house tomorrow, will update as much as I can!

Another Sunday done, another boring, ordinary day passed.

I didn't really do much besides drink virgin cosmopolitans (cranberry juice with club soda instead of vodka and orange liquer), listen to music and watch movies.

And I also came up with an fanfiction idea: the first two stories in the trilogy will be based on the first two "Scream" movies, and the third story will be based on the TV show "Harper's Island", so it's basically a murder mystery/horror trilogy, which I've never tried my hand at writing before. We'll see how everything plays out. I'll give a rundown of the characters that survive the whole series (i.e. don't get killed off):

Abby Gomez (played by Victoria Justice) is the Neve Campbell/Elaine Cassidy role as the heroine of the series. Her mother was killed before the events of the first story (like in both Scream and Harper's Island) and her boyfriend is constantly pressuring her for sex and she feels that she can't satisfy him (like in Scream). Her childhood best friend only got to see her during the summer (like in Harper's Island) when she used to live on a vaction island spot. She moved to her current hometown because her dad got a new job. And throughout the whole series, she and her friends are stalked by a masked killer (like in Scream, kind of in Harper's Island in that the killer was unknown til the end).

David Archuleta (himself) is the Jamie Kennedy/C.J. Thomason role. Like Kennedy's character Randy, David is a horror movie fanatic and works in a video store, but unlike Randy, who was killed off in the second movie, David survives the whole series. Like Thomason's character Jimmy, David becomes Abby's boyfriend in the 3rd story (he is in love with her for the whole series but doesn't officially ask her out til the 2nd story). Like Randy, David explains the "rules" for surviving horror movies in a little segment in the story.

Dan Raymond (Ben Lyons) is the David Arquette/Jim Beaver role. Both of their characters were police officers, but my character is more like the Arquette role in that he's more there to protect Abby and her friends and that he falls in love with a journalist.

Lucy Wilder (Megan Joy) is the Courteney Cox Arquette role as the journalist who covers the murders. Unlike the Cox Arquette character, she's not manipulative or ambitious and is quite friendly towards Abby.

So there's the run-down of the main characters.......will keep you updated on how everything goes down.

Hard as I try I know I can't quit, something about you is so addictive

Saturdays are one of my favorite days of the week. I can get out of the house sometimes, venture around my hometown, and just feel the fresh air.

This Saturday started kinda late cuz I slept late, but it was still good. Managed to get some shopping done. I love to shop, but I always buy some of the same things: school supplies and food. I always get a composition notebook or journal to keep someday (my nightstand is jammed full of blank journals that I plan to keep), and I get something to eat.

And then I just listened to music, wrote in my 3 current journals and watched movies.

I started keeping journals when I was young, just because it was something I was interested in. And in 7th grade, we were required to keep composition notebook journals, and it was something I continued doing since then. And then in 10th grade I started keeping regular journals. It was just a little collection, and I have all sorts of blank ones to keep on my shelf: TV show and movie themed journals, plain designs, fancy designs, cartoon characters, you name something that'll appeal to me, I'll most likely have it.

I keep 3 journals at a time. Back in 11th grade I only kept 2 at a time, but then I lost one of the ones I kept at the time so I started writing in a new one, and then I found the one I lost. So I just have kept 3 ever since. And as soon as I finish one, I start another. It's an on-going cycle that will most likely continue for years to come.

I name all of my journals as well, for two reasons: first, to tell two identical ones apart, and two, because it's like having a friend that you don't have to lie to, try to impress, or judge, a friend that will never forget your birthday or any important event, and a friend that won't get mad when you throw it at the wall in frustration (which I've never done, but just in case). And all of my journals are female because it's just easier to discuss things with girls.

Currently, I keep 3 journals: a red composition notebook that has a design of a girl with a fancy outfit on and says "Urban chic" that I named Stephanie, a "Hannah Montana" journal that I named Amelia, and a journal that belonged to my great-grandmother and has a floral design that I named Emma.

And there are always reasons behind the name: I name them after actresses, singers, characters, athletes, dancers and friends that I like, or just names that I like in general. And if there's more than one person with that particular name that I like, then the journal is named after all of those people. My journal Stephanie has 3 namesakes: two friends both named Stephanie (one from my old high school and one online), and actress Stephanie Pratt of "The Hills". My journal Amelia is named after my friend Amelia. She and I have been friends since she was in 8th grade and I was in 7th grade. She graduated from my high school a year early, but we have remained friends to this day and I occasionally see her downtown. My journal Emma is named for actress Emma Roberts. She is the daughter of Eric Roberts and the niece of Julia Roberts. Emma starred on the tv show "Unfabulous" and has starred in a few movies, including "Aquamarine" and "Hotel for Dogs".

I try to write in my journals daily, but if other things get in the way, I don't write in them. But I try to write in them daily. And I like to listen to music while I write in them. Either I just search through my iPod or put on one of my playlists. And sometimes I tell a story behind why I like that song.

Do you catch your breath when I look at you? Are you holding back like the way you do?

It is officially 12:04 am in Iowa. So it's August 1st.

Exactly one year ago today, an amazing song was released to radio. "Crush" by David Archuleta, who is "American Idol" season 7's runner-up. I was a huge fan of his and still am. To celebrate, I am having the song play on my iTunes on repeat, and later today I will be going out and wearing my Crush t-shirt that I had custom-made on cafepress.com.

I remember first hearing the lyrics "Do you catch your breath when I look at you?" and saying "yes I do, David!" whenever I heard them. Now just change David to another name that begins with D and it's perfectly describing of my life now. I added it to the playlist I made for him (which now has 9 songs on it).

I love the song so much and used to blast it as loud as my radio would go when it came on the radio, really late at night. I would do it with no cares. I didn't care if my parents woke up, David freaking Archuleta was on the radio, everyone had to hear it. But fortunately they never did.

And I remember calling into my favorite radio station to request it, my favorite DJ and I had a conversation about David. And he said David was goofy-looking and I got mad. My best friend Jenny said that he was jealous that someone almost 10 years younger than he is (my DJ's 27 and David's 18) is getting all the attention. My favorite DJ is good-looking tho.

That song is a song that anyone can relate to......it talks about having feelings for someone, and you're not sure if they're real or just a crush. That's exactly how I feel right now about someone. He's just an amazing guy and I really like him. I may even love him. But I don't know. My friend Melanie says that we're gonna fall in love as soon as we lay eyes on each other. I hope so.

Well I'm gonna stop rambling about love songs and go back to Tweeting up a storm! And maybe write in my real journals too.

I don't know what to do, I think I'm fallin' for you!

Today was the drive back home to my hometown. It was pretty boring and I basically zoned out listening to one of my many playlists. I'm always adding on to them, so when I get done with them, there's a lot of songs. I added a song to one of my playlists for one of my celeb crushes, then 2 songs for another one, then 4 songs for a playlist for my best friend. I pick songs that kinda come into my life during the time I make the playlist that I like and kinda tell the story of my life.

So we ate dinner, I watched TV, drank coffee, showered, cried on my webcam and Tweeted up a storm with my friends Kayla (or Kaydan), Dani and Stephie (who was there for me tonight because I was really upset about something). And that basically sums up my Wednesday night.

I cried a lot tonight and now I have a headache because of it. And my left arm aches and I don't know why.

Next week I'll be heading back up to visit my grandma to help her out again. Tomorrow I'm not sure what I'm doing. But I will let you know of anything that happens.

I don't really have much to say tonight......so I think I'll just ended it here. Sorry that it's so short, I will try to write more tomorrow.

I never wanted anyone like this, it's all brand new.

Tuesdays were never anything particularly special in my life. Just a plain day.

We had to go get my grandma's infusion, and it took longer than usual cuz they had to clean something out. But it got done. I basically listened to music and read about the Jonas Brothers in a magazine my grandma gave me.

Then we came home, did some work around the house and had some lunch. I made pasta for dinner and it was good. Then I had some chocolate-dipped strawberries, and then my grandma and I just ate the chocolate dip because it's only good for 12 hours and so we finished it off. Then we did a little more work around the house and then watched "Paris Hilton's My New BFF".

I got into this show a few weeks ago. I decided to watch it one night out of boredom and ended up enjoying it. My friends like it too and we'd talk about it every week.

Tonight was a particularly sad episode for everyone, even Paris herself. One of my favorite contestants was let go, and Paris said it was hard for her to come to that decision, and when she told him goodbye (or as she says it, TTYS for contestants she wants to keep in touch with), she was crying. I cried too, because I loved this particular contestant. His name is Stephen Hampton, and he was very funny and flirty. He's Tweeted me back once, and he flirted with me. He called me sexy and said he loved me. Which I think was very sweet.

Tomorrow I may be heading back home to my hometown, but I am not sure yet. My mom was supposed to keep in touch with me while she was on her vacation but hasn't called me at all. We'll see how everything ends up. But I just hope we're home before 8:00 so I can watch the new episode of "I Survived a Japanese Game Show". I always give my commentary on a David Archuleta fansite in Off Topic Discussion, and in case my friend Stephie misses an episode, I let her know what happens via Twitter. It's just a fun show to watch and VERY entertaining and I always gotta tune in to see what the contestants are put up to next! Y'all should watch it!

I'm just listening to the Delilah show again. My friend Kayla said she is going to email her with a dedication to Leonardo DiCaprio. He is her favorite actor and she's liked him for awhile. I asked her what song she was gonna dedicate to him, and she's not sure yet. I made a dedication to a celeb last night too, the first time I dedicated something to someone I didn't know personally. I considered dedicating a song to David Archuleta from all his fans but decided against it. And Kayla said that she thought of doing the same thing! Great minds think alike, I guess.

Well I have 3 regular journals to write in, so I am gonna try to do that before I go to sleep. But I will be sure to tell you of whatever goes on tomorrow!

Another Sunday night, another good day passed.

Today my grandma and I went to the hospital again so she could get her infusion. She hired someone to do the housework while we were gone, and we stopped at McDonald's for lunch. When we got home I helped out her hired lady with some of the housework and read some old IM convos.

We didn't do much besides that, just hung out and watched tv, and we had roast beef sandwiches for dinner. It was pretty good. And then I watered the tomatoes and had another encounter with the cat that I found yesterday and named Heidi. I really hope we find a home for her, or maybe I'll take her in myself. My stepdad previously said no more cats after my last 2 cats died since he's allergic to them, but maybe I could change his mind on the condition that I take her with me when I move out. I hope to find a place of my own this year.

And then I just listened to the Delilah show the rest of the night and talked with various friends. I have a bond with friends that I hope will never be severed. I really treasure my friends and I try to keep them with me my whole life.

One thing I like to do for friends is make playlists for them. I make playlists for celebs, crushes and my friends. I have 3 playlists for one of my favorite singers, a playlist for each of my celebrity crushes (that I'm still adding on to!), and 2 playlists for my best friend in the world. I made another one for him but I need to re-make it.

When I make playlists for my friends, I try to include songs that are part of my life at the moment. My last playlist for my best friend, Chris, has all sorts of songs that came into my life this year. 27 in all that spanned over 2 CDs. Some were from American Idol finalists this year, some were past contestants, some were artists that I personally liked or songs that I personally liked.

For one of the gift projects that we did for Adam Lambert this year, we made mix CDs. Mine was easy to make. I used to make slideshows for him (due to recent events I will no longer be doing that), and for my mix CD, I just used all the songs I had used in slideshows for him up to that point (there were 24 songs in all, really 23 because I used 2 different versions of one song in a slideshow for him). There were all sorts of songs on there: Classic rock like the Rolling Stones, Journey and Heart, current pop artists like Britney Spears, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, popular bands like the Jonas Brothers, Cascada, Fall Out Boy and Rascal Flatts, up-and-coming artists like Mitchel Musso, Miranda Cosgrove, Lady GaGa, Metro Station and Ballas Hough Band, one little-known artist, one song from a musical, and several current or past American Idol finalists, including David Archuleta, Brooke White, Kelly Clarkson and Allison Iraheta. Since then I've made another 24-song playlist and an 18-song playlist. I may send them to him eventually.

My taste in music is a little bit of everything that's not classical, techno or death metal. And that's why I like making playlists, is to show my varied music taste. I share my music with anyone who's interested, and it's just fun to make playlists.

For my celebrity crushes, I just make a playlist of songs I come across that remind me of them and put it in a playlist. I have 4 big ones at the moment. They have 10, 5, 2 and 1 songs on their respective playlists. The one that has only one song is because so far I just haven't found another good song for him yet. I'll be sure to let you know of anything I find.

Well that's all I have to say tonight, so I think I'm gonna listen to some music and try to catch some z's.

This crush ain't going away!!!!!!!

Today was a very fun day. Saturdays usually are.

I had to go to the hospital with my grandma and aunt so she could get her fusion packet. Then we went to Fazoli's for lunch...........it was REALLY yummy. We will definitely come back there someday.

And then we had to stop at Wal-Mart, and I bought a bunch of notebooks. I keep composition notebooks as journals. I had to in 7th grade and I just kept doing it. I'm on my 24th, and I have several more to write in. I name all of mine because it's like having a friend you don't have to lie to, impress or judge, one that will never forget your birthday and won't get mad when you throw it at the wall.

When we were done I went over to my aunt's house to help her out, and I got to spend some time with her little kitten, Charlee Amos. I took a video clip of her on youtube and she's just so sweet. And I talked with my aunt about all sorts of things. It was nice to just bond with her.

And then when I got home I just listened to Delilah again, but with a little bit of company. My aunt and I found a stray cat in the garage. My grandma thinks that someone just dumped her here, and she looked sorta beat up. I kinda took care of her tonight, gave her some water and spent some time with her. And I named her too. Heidi, after singer/actress/tv personality Heidi Pratt. I hope I can find a good home for her if not bring her home with me. This would be the second time I resuced a cat. The first time was Christmas 1999. My now dead cat Rachael showed up and we fed her and took care of her. And we called all of the neighbors and nobody claimed her, so I brought her home with me and we took care of her until she died.

That's my story of the day, so now I think I'm gonna rest a bit and listen to some music.

It's now 10:08 pm in Iowa, and I'm in my bedroom at my grandma's house, listening to The Delilah Show on the radio. She's currently playing one of my all-time favorite songs, "Dreaming of You" by Selena Quintinilla-Perez. My best friend re-introduced me to that song and I dedicated it to Billy, my almost-boyfriend, on Delilah last month.

Before I go into my big Delilah story, let's recap the events of the day:

I was woken up by a loud drilling noise at 9:00 am, and I went upstairs to see the repairmen that my mom hired installing the new patio door. The younger assistant looks to be about my age, and he's very cute. I wanted to give him my cell phone number but I was too nervous.

We left the house on the road at noon. We had to stop at my grandma's to drop me off before my parents left for Omaha. I did some things my grandma asked me to do if she wasn't there when I got there, then I got unpacked and checked some stuff on the computer, and then my grandma called to let me know she was on her way home. She was in the hospital because one of her cats bit her and it got infected.

Now for the Delilah show:

I've been an avid fan of the Delilah Show since Christmas 2005 and have always wanted to make a dedication. And now I've made a few, either by phone or email. The last one I made was for Billy last month. I told one of her producers that he was my almost-boyfriend, and she said "your almost-boyfriend, did he get away, or are you working on it?" And I told her we were working on it.

Delilah's stories are just so sweet and touching. Some of them I can relate to, and some I wish I had. I love listening to love songs and picking out all of my favorites. And some I hope to re-dedicate some of those songs to special people in my life! Some of them are some of my all-time favorite songs.

Now I'm gonna sit back and listen to my show again.........and maybe try to make a dedication of my own! I will let y'all know of any adventures that happen tomorrow!

Hold on to that feeling!

Thursday was always a "short" day in my life. School was dismissed at least an hour early for teacher meetings, if not earlier due to inclement weather. So I would either go home or go to club meetings or whatever, depending on what was going on.

Today was kinda long. I babysat my brother and sister while my mom went to a hair appointment. My sister's close friend called her and invited her to go swimming, so she left before my mom came home. Then my mom paid me after she went to the library to return some stuff and I left around 4:30 to do a little shopping. I ended up getting dinner at Chick Fil-A, which is amazing. And then I bought a ring from Claire's that was on clearance. I have worn a ring on my left ring finger since the end of February and haven't removed it since a particular Wednesday. So I bought another ring, this time for my right ring finger. I made sure the particular ring fit my ring finger (and it does), and so now I plan on wearing it forever.

And when I got home I just watched a good majority of Zoolander, and then waited til 9:00 to switch it to the "16 and Pregnant: Life after Labor" reunion show. I mentioned in an earlier blog that I loved the show. It's on MTV, and documented a different girl each episode that was 16 or older and pregnant. It started when the girl was about 6-7 months pregnant and ended when the baby was a few months old.

I watched the show at the suggestion of my friend Lauren, who watched it and liked it. The first episode I watched, a girl from my home state, Farrah, was the girl documented. She was a popular cheerleader and raised her daughter Sophia with her mom helping her. Her ex-boyfriend was not in the picture, and it was later reported that he was killed in a car accident shortly before Sophia was born.

I made it a priority to tune in every week unless I was unable to. I watched a good majority of the season, in part or in whole. My favorite couple for this season would have to be Whitney and her boyfriend Weston, who reside in Georgia. Whitney and her mom were having babies due around the same date. Whitney's half-brother Taccoa was born 2 weeks before her son, Weston Jr. I loved the fact that Weston was there for Whitney and did things for their son without complaning. He just did it. On the reunion show tonight, it was revealed that their son had a genetic condition where his liver was enlarged, and because of that he will not be able to play sports when he's older, and he can't smoke or drink (which nobody should to begin with. One drink is okay, but you should be able to control it. I don't plan on drinking because I don't want to lose myself).

And now I will give my thoughts on the whole issue of teen pregnancy.

I am 19 and still a virgin. I don't know if I want to wait til I'm married to lose my virginity, but I DEFINITELY want to be married when I have kids. I will be done with college, married and hopefully I'll have a steady job when I have kids. I just don't think I could handle having a kid until I was married. I currently don't have a job, and I'm kind of searching, but at the same time I'd have to quit in a month anyway to go back to school.

On the off chance I DID get pregnant at my age, I would keep the baby. I believe abortion is wrong, and after going through all the changes through the 9 months, I just would not be emotionally able to give my baby up for adoption, because it's like, my child. I had to go through all that and I just would not be emotionally ready to give my child away. Catelynn and Tyler from this season were VERY strong to do that. And they are a sweet couple too. They were my second-favorite, after Whitney and Weston.

Like I mentioned earlier, I am not sure if I want to wait til I'm married to have sex. But if I decide to do it, I will be safe, because I want to be married when I have kids. I talked about it with my friend Amy, and she said that if I do decide to do it, to make sure my guy doesn't bail on me. I want to be in a serious relationship. My last (and so far, only) boyfriend implied he wanted it, but I was 15 and he was almost 17, and we were only together for 4 months. I wasn't ready. So I said no, and then 2 days later he broke up with me and gave me a typical excuse for why he's breaking up with me. And it took me 4 years to realize the truth. It took me 4 years to realize he was wrong for me. But I've moved on and am still searching for the right guy. I may have found him, but I'm not sure yet. We'll see this fall.

So, that's my rant/story of today. I am leaving for Des Moines, IA tomorrow, but will bring my computer with me so I can continue to tell you about my adventures and life stories. It should be pretty fun.

I can't help but smile everytime I see your face.

So today's a Wednesday. Halfway through the week. Two more days til I pack up and head up to Des Moines to visit my extended family. My parents are gonna drop me off there and then drive up to Omaha to do some boring stuff that I didn't really want to be a part of. So I'm going up there with some money I earned from hardcore babysitting, and we'll see how everything goes there. I will bring my laptop so I can update.

So today I got to hang out with my friend Alexis. She and I go to school together and we just bonded over a common love for American Idol. We would discuss it every week and also talk about our lives. Just so nice to have a friend you can talk to about stuff.

And then tonight was just another typical lonely night. I had a sandwich, made some coffee, watched some early evening TV just to kill time before my Wednesday night show, I Survived a Japanese Game Show. Great show on ABC, you should watch it. This weeks episode was preempted because President Obama was giving a press conference.

I got into I Survived a Japanese Game Show last summer. I saw previews for it and it looked really funny. So I tuned into the first episode and it was really funny, so I made it a priority to watch every week. It was very entertaining and I couldn't wait to see what they did next.

When I heard it was coming back for a second season, I couldn't wait to watch it. I am a member of a fansite for one of my favorite singers, David Archuleta. I started a topic about the show in the "Off-Topic Discussion" section of his site. My friend Stephie commented in the thread and she said that she watched it last year and didn't know they were making a new season, so she would watch it. The week she started watching was the week Bobaloo went home.

So now I make an effort to comment on the week's episode each week. I found Stephie on Twitter and we'll try to talk more about it.

I had a contestant last season that I was attached to, and this season I have one as well. My favorite contestant this year is named Dan Barbour. He's a 25-year-old young adult librarian from Shrewsbury, MA. My dad is from a town just outside of Boston, and Shrewsbury's near Boston and Worcester, so maybe my dad has heard about him. I like Dan for the following reasons:

1. We share a lot of similarities (both from small towns, both are religious virgins, both love to read, both are single, and are both pretty tall. I'm 5'8". I'm not sure how tall he is)
2. He's VERY attractive (and Stephie thinks he's pretty cute too)
3. I just have this very strange feeling that Dan will end up being like last years winner Justin Wood: he'll be the guy who kinda just hangs out in the background and ends up winning the whole shebang. Dan's been up for 2 elimination challenges and he won both in like a landslide, and I think he's got the potential to win this whole thing. He's a strong competitor, is always willing to take some heat, and never backs down from anything, and never says never.

I did a video blog awhile ago talking a little bit about Dan and I shared my thoughts about him being a future strong competitor. And I shared it with Stephie and she agrees with me and declared that we are now "Team Dan".

He has a blog on here if you want to read it. The address of it is http://bydan.blogspot.com. You can read it if you want. Judging from his blogs, he seems like a very down-to-earth person. And he's replied to me a couple of times on his facebook page, and (to borrow the phrase from him) oh my word he's so sweet! He's got me started saying "oh my word" and abbreviating it too (omw).
